The club's pulsating bass reverberates through the walls, but it does little to lift Jordan's spirits. He sits in their private section, eyes locked on the glass in his hand, the amber liquid swirling untouched. Around him, Ralen, J2, Steph, Juan, Klay, and Gary are trying their best to keep the mood light, but their energy can't reach him."Bro, you should be happy you're not having a baby with Little Ms. Delusional," Ralen says, attempting to bring humor into the situation. Gary nods in agreement, chuckling as he takes a sip of his drink.
"Yeah, you dodged a real bullet there," Gary adds, leaning back in his seat.
Klay and Steph exchange a glance, sensing the deeper issue. "I don't think that's the point," Klay says, his tone more serious.
Steph nods, giving Jordan a sympathetic look. "It's not just about the baby, man. It's everything else too."
Juan, who's grinning at his phone, chimes in, "Not to mention Kari keeping that from you and then kissing some other dude. That's a lot to deal with." He goes back to softly talking to Mariah, who's sleeping on the other end of the call, completely unaware of the tension surrounding the guys.
Gary shifts in his seat and turns to Jayden. "So, what are you gonna do, man? About all of it?"
Jordan finally looks up, but his expression is unreadable. He shakes his head, eyes clouded with a mix of emotions—anger, betrayal, confusion. "I don't know," he mutters, setting his glass down on the table.
The group falls silent for a moment, letting Jordan's words hang in the air. It's clear he's torn, and the weight of the situation is pressing down on him.
"I get that she's sorry, but I trusted her," Jordan continues, his voice low but filled with frustration. "We had this whole thing about not keeping secrets, and then she does this. And Joey? Of all people?"
Ralen leans forward, looking at Jordan seriously. "You still love her, though, don't you?"
Jordan lets out a heavy sigh, rubbing his temples. "Yeah, I do. But I don't know if that's enough right now."
Klay, ever the voice of reason, speaks up. "Sometimes love isn't enough if trust is broken. You've got to figure out if you can get past this."
Steph nods in agreement. "But don't make any decisions when you're angry. Give yourself time to cool off. You don't want to say or do something you'll regret later."
Juan, still half-listening to the conversation, suddenly looks up and adds, "And don't let it mess with your game, bro. You've got a lot going on, but basketball is still your focus."
Jordan leans back, the weight of everyone's advice hitting him all at once. "I hear y'all, but I just don't know how to move forward from here. It's all messed up."
Gary claps him on the back. "One step at a time, man. You'll figure it out."
Then, a group of girls walk in the club and Gary spots them, inviting them in their section.
