Continuation
A forbidden friendship began. Each day, Colet would sneak away from the South, crossing borders, and Y/n would find her in the Meridian Garden. They would talk for hours, sharing stories of their worlds, their dreams, and the burdens they carried as the next generation of their realms. Colet admired Y/n's strength, while Y/n found solace in Colet's boundless curiosity and kindness.
Here, the sky was always a stormy gray, but the garden held a kind of quiet beauty, a sense of peace that could not be found anywhere else in the kingdom. They were sitting on their spot under the huge Nara tree, breaking every each branches of a tree they found.
Colet, with her wild brown hair and curious amber eyes, was trying to catch a firefly that hovered just out of reach. Y/n watched her with a small smile, her own silver eyes reflecting the torchlight. For a moment, everything felt simple like it was just them and this garden, and nothing else in the world mattered.
Colet finally gave up on the firefly with a sigh, flopping back on the bench beside Sylvia. "Nahuli ko na!" she grinned, then opened her empty hand with a laugh. "Hindi pa rin talaga" Y/n chuckled softly, shaking her head.
Colet leaned back, looking up at the dark sky, her laughter fading into a thoughtful expression. "Y/n..." she began after a moment, her voice quieter now,"Sa tingin mo ba ay titigil na ang digmaan sa pagitan ng ating kaharian? Magkakaroon pa ba tayo ng kapayapaan?"
Their kingdoms were not at peace. For countless generations, the Kingdom of Wolves and the Kingdom of Vampires had been mortal enemies. The vampires desired to expand their domain, and their eyes were set on the territories of the wolves. War was imminent.
Y/n's smile faded, and she glanced away, her gaze focusing on the crimson roses nearby. She was silent for a moment, considering her answer. Finally, she spoke, her voice barely above a whisper.
Colet nodded slowly, her expression serious. "Pero hindi naman kailangang ganito, diba? Magkaibigan tayo. Magkasundo naman tayo"
Y/n turned back to her, her silver eyes meeting Colet's amber ones. "Tayo magkaibigan..." she agreed.
Colet frowned, a stubborn look crossing her face. "Pero bakit?" she pressed.
Y/n sighed, her gaze softening. "Maaari pagdating ng araw," she said quietly.
Colet looked down, her fingers playing with the hem of her tunic.
