Ten Minutes Later

Amanda opens her eyes and finds herself in a dark room, Odette following soon after. "What is this place?" Asked Amanda. "I don't know, but I still feel weak." Said Odette. "Me too, my head is pounding." Amanda said. "I can barely stand up." Odette said.

"Oh good, you're finally awake." Said a female voice. The girls look towards the door and see Miss Sugar approaching them with a smirk on her face. "Miss Sugar?!" The girls said in unison. "In the flesh!" Said Miss Sugar. "Your gum did this to us from the minute we started chewing it! How could you?!" Said Amanda angrily. "Actually, it wasn't because you chewed the gum." Miss Sugar said. "Then why are we feeling so weak?" Asked Odette.

"Allow me to explain a little something to you. My bubblegum looks and tastes like any other, until you blow a bubble. When it pops, it sprays acid, and you two have breathed it in." Said Miss Sugar. "Acid bubblegum? What kind of sick flavor is that?" Amanda asked in an annoyed tone. "Sick?! I'll tell you what's sick, spending years making bubblegum, only for no one to bother buying it or even try a piece!" Miss Sugar yelled. "What are you talking about?" Odette asked.

Miss Sugar pulls herself together and smooths out her dress. "Twelve years ago, I worked in a candy store in Brynmawr, selling bubblegum. The place was called Candy Town, a name I find quite fetching." She said. "I like that name too." Said Amanda to Odette.

"Children would walk in, buy lots of chocolate, lollipops, peppermints, gummy bears, the list goes on. Though they did buy bubblegum, they didn't want any of mine! So I let my anger out and underwent a great transformation. My black hair turned pink, and even every outfit I've ever touched turned pink." Said Miss Sugar. "It's not every day villains wear pink." Said Odette to Amanda.

"Ever since people refused to buy my gum, I became determined to make them try it. However, I knew I had to make a few adjustments, so I improved the recipe and put acid into it. Like how children sometimes work lemonade stands, I decided to put up a bubblegum stand." Miss Sugar said. "That's a new one." Amanda said.

"Once again, people refused to buy my gum. It went on for days, the days became weeks, and the weeks became months... until one day when a girl in her teens approached my stand. She mentioned how she loves bubblegum, then I offered her a piece of mine. To my surprise, she actually accepted it!" Said Miss Sugar as her angry face became a smile. "Well, what do you know?" Odette said.

"The girl, whose name was Bethany, blew the biggest bubble anyone has ever blown! Then when it popped, she began to feel dizzy and asked me what was in the gum. It occurred to me she breathed in the acid, then she died instantly. After a successful test of my acid gum, I forced people to have my gum instead of asking, and I refused to take no for an answer!" Miss Sugar yelled towards the end.

Though they're weak, the girls glare at the bubblegum witch. "You can't do that! Not everyone in this world says yes to everything, you know!" Said Odette. "Oh yeah? I can and I will! And once I get more people to try my gum, I'll be queen of the world!" Said Miss Sugar. She laughs evilly afterwards. "So your motivation is out of vengeance and greed?" Asked Amanda. "Correct. I might just give a piece to your husbands as well." Miss Sugar said with a smirk. "No!!" The girls cried. "Yes!" Said Miss Sugar.
