Everyone leaves Bubblegum Castle. Just in time too! The ground starts shaking, and the castle is about to crumble. "Quick, get out of the way!" Yelled Derek. He and the others run away from the destruction as the castle falls apart completely.

"Just think if that castle broke down and we were still in it!" Said Odette. "Why did this happen anyway?" Asked Paul. "I guess since Sugar Pink is dead, everything she owned or built went down with her." Said Amanda.

The boys climb onto the carriage, while the girls get into the backseat. "Do you girls remember where you parked your carriage?" Derek asked. "I think it's still at the park where we met Sugar Pink." Odette said. Amanda closes her eyes and puts her hands on her temples. "Got anything, love?" Paul asked. "Odette's right, that's exactly where we left it." Amanda said.

On the way back to the suite, they stop by the park where the whole Sugar Pink episode started so the girls can get their carriage. "Thanks guys, we'll meet you back at our room." Said Odette. "No problem, ladies." Said Derek.

After the carriage with the boys pulls out, the girls climb onto theirs and follow their husbands back to the suite.

Monday

The weekend is over, and that also means the end of the vacation in Hamburg. Amanda is packing her bags, then Paul approaches to give her a hand.

"Oh! Thanks, sweetie." Said Amanda. "You're welcome. So, did you have fun this weekend?" Asked Paul. "Despite the first few days, yes. By the way, Derek and Odette told me something pretty exciting, and I think you deserve to know as well." Amanda said. "What is it?" Paul asked.

Amanda takes a deep breath. "There's a festival of roses taking place soon, they're planning to surprise Bromley, whom everyone in Rosegart is referring to as their hero, and I'm invited to go along!" She said. "Oh, Amanda, that's great! You're gonna have a wonderful time!" Said Paul. "About that..." Said Amanda. "What?" Paul asked. "They said I can take you with me!" Amanda said excitedly.

Paul smiles. "Wow! I'd be delighted to come along!" He said. "Like how Borromeo has a festival of the tulips, Rosegart has the festival of the roses!" Said Amanda. "Makes perfect sense, considering it has rose in its name." Said Paul.

They finished packing moments later, then Amanda starts sniffing. "What do I smell? It smells good. Minty too." She said. "Oh, it's gum. Don't worry, this isn't Sugar Pink's acid bubblegum, it's regular gum." Paul said. "Ah." Amanda said. "Want one?" Asked Paul. "No thanks, I think I had enough gum for a lifetime." Said Amanda.

Understanding what his wife went through, Paul gives Amanda a pat on her back, then the two meet Derek and Odette outside.

"This has been an interesting weekend, hasn't it?" Odette asked. "I'll say it has. The first few days may have been hectic, but the rest was quite relaxing. We deserve to unwind from time to time." Amanda said. "Paul, did Amanda tell you about the upcoming festival of roses in Rosegart?" Derek asked. "She sure did, and I can hardly wait to go when it arrives!" Paul said.

Derek and Odette exchange a smiling glance with each other. "Come on, let's go home." Said Odette. "Alright, see you back at the apartment, Paulie." Said Amanda. "You too, sweetheart." Said Paul. He and Amanda give each other a quick kiss on the lips, while Derek and Odette do the same thing.

Amanda climbs onto Odette's carriage, then Paul makes himself comfortable in Derek's. Unlike the beginning of the trip, the carriages follow each other back to the apartment in Liverpool. The girls are in the front, while the boys trail behind them.

Yes, the trip may have kicked off on an unexpected note, but the rest of it went smoothly as the swan princess and her family had fun. Now Amanda has a bunch of new stories to share with the Russos once she and Paul get dropped off.

Curious about the Festival of Roses thing Swan mentioned to Paul? Check out this entry of Odette's diary from last month. Though it was just uploaded today, I love what Odette has written, and I think you will too! ~ Amanda
