"Our next destination is the Frosted Forest, from there we'll find our next ingredient, ice wraith teeth." Said Paul. "Good thing I'm not bothered by the cold." Said Derek. "Lucky you, I should've brought a heavier coat. Never mind that, do you think it's safe for us to take our masks off?" Paul asked. "I don't see any other gum spots around here, so we should be good." Derek said.

The boys remove their masks, then they reach their destination. Paul has already started shivering. "D-Derek? Do you m-mind handling th-this one alone?" He asked as his teeth began to chatter. "I think so, I'll be right back." Said Derek. Right after the king leaves, a blanket magically appears around Paul, causing his shivering to subside within seconds.

Inside The Forest

A bunch of icicles hang over Derek's head, but then he notices how three of them aren't the same size as the rest and they're on the ground. "These must be it." He said. Just as he picks up the ice, he notices a butterfly laying lifelessly. Derek picks up it up then makes his way out of the forest. Paul smiles as he returns.

"That was fast." Said Paul. "I also found this dead butterfly. The poor thing must've froze to death in the forest." Derek said. "Well, you'll be happy to know the next ingredient was butterfly wings, so now we're in business." Paul said. "That makes seven ingredients, but I don't think the rest will be easy to find. What's the next one?" Asked Derek.

Paul looks at the list. "Gleam blossom." He said. "What's a gleam blossom?" Derek asked. "According to this picture, it's a flower that looks like an upside down bell. The inside glows too." Said Paul. "And its location?" Asked Derek. "In a place called the Enchanted Woodland Hut." Paul said. "Alright then, hopefully Sugar Pink won't do anything to slow us down there." Derek said.

Ingredient number eight awaits the boys in their next destination. Once they get there, a bunch of illuminating flowers greet them with their light. "Remember, we need to find one that's bell shaped." Said Paul. "Got it." Said Derek.

But right when they stepped off the carriage, Paul holds his head in agony as he hears a voice trying to contact him.

Paulie, time is almost up! Please hurry!

That voice belonged to Amanda. "Darling, how are you talking to me?" Paul asked. "I'm communicating with you telepathically. You don't need magic to hear me in your head." Said Amanda. "Then again, I hear you when you sing at a faraway distance. Anyway, did you say time is running out?" Asked Paul. "I did, there's only one hour left." Amanda said as her voice began to get weaker. "No, don't you dare die on me! Do you hear?! Amanda?! Amanda?!?!" Paul said worriedly.

"Paul, I lost you for second! Are you alright?" Derek asked. "Clock is ticking, Derek! Amanda used telepathy to contact me, and she said there's one hour left until she and Odette die!" Said Paul. "What?!" Said Derek in shock.

The same thing happens to the king a minute later. "Derek, can you hear me?" Said Amanda's voice. "Yes, Amanda, I hear you. Answer me this one question, is Odette okay?" Derek asked as he put his hands on his temples. "She's barely moving and can hardly keep her eyes open, but she's still breathing." Amanda said. "Oh no. Like I heard Paul say before we left, please hold on!" Said Derek. "Bro, we're trying. Tell Paul... I'm... sorry." Said Amanda. Her voice really got quiet now.

"No! I'm losing Odette, I can't lose you too!! Amanda, are you still there?" Derek asked worriedly. No reply. "Derek, what's wrong?" Paul asked. "We're running out of time! Let's just grab the gleam blossom and get out of here!" Said Derek.

"There's another ingredient here that we need after we get the blossom, and that's wheats." Said Paul. "Does it say so on the map?" Derek asked. "Yes. You get the blossom, I'll head to the wheat field and gather some wheats." Paul said.

The boys split up to get the two items in the area needed for the antidote, meeting back up a minute later. "Alright, we now have nine ingredients!" Said Derek. "Our final destination is a place called the Grove of Plenty." Said Paul.

"And the last ingredient?" Derek asked. "Something called a bezoar. What in blazes is a bezoar?" Paul asked. "Don't look at me, I've never heard of it." Said Derek. "Maybe we'll learn about this strange stone or whatever it is when we find it." Said Paul.

The clock is ticking, and it's only a matter of time until Amanda and Odette succumb to the acid they inhaled.
