「After years of heartache, you thought you were done with Gojo Satoru-the man who shattered your trust. But now, fate forces you to work with him again. Gojo hasn't changed, and despite your defenses, he's rele...

After your conversation with Gojo by the koi pond, things continued to stay the same yet different.
Gojo kept his distance, maintaining the same professionalism he'd promised.
You were finally at peace. Your relationship with Kota was going well, and Gojo and you weren't on bad terms anymore.
But that was until you started to take notice Gojo and Keiko were always together.
As the days turned into weeks, you noticed Gojo started taking more mission with Keiko even though he usually worked alone. And hearing Keiko's laughter at Gojo's jokes everyday 24/7, started getting under your skin.
To you, all they did was get in your way when you tried to work.
. . .
You found yourself sitting with Shoko, sharing tea between work. The quiet clinks of cups was the only sound for a while, until Shoko's calm voice cut through the silence.
"You've been quieter than usual," Shoko remarked, her gaze steady as she stirred her tea. "Something bothering you?"
You blinked, caught off guard by the directness. "No... no, I'm fine," you said quickly, glancing away.
"Just busy."
Shoko hummed in response, a knowing smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Right. Busy. Has nothing to do with Gojo and Keiko, then?"
The teacup in your hand froze midway to your lips. "What? No! Why would it—" you started, then stopped, realizing how defensive you sounded.
"They're just working together."
"Sure," Shoko said, leaning back in her chair with an amused look. "But it bothers you."
You sighed, putting down the cup with more force than you intended. "It's... it's not that. I don't care what he does or who he spends time with. It's just..."
"Just what?" Shoko pressed, her tone gentle but firm.
"I don't know," you finally admitted. "They're always getting in my way. When I try working she distracts me with her loud, obnoxious laughter and throws flirtatious remarks to him. Like she's rubbing it in my face! Like get a room!"
Shoko laughed, "it's not funny! It's like they're joined hips! If Gojo is there, Keiko will be there! It's so annoying! I'm trying to work peacefully!" You crossed your arms.
"And, I don't know, you don't think it's because it's him bothering someone else, and not you" that suggestion startled you.
"What're you talking about!?"
Shoko leaned forward slightly and had a smirk across her face. "Maybe it's because you're not as over him as you want to be."
