That night, Emi gave you a chance to think about it. They'll be leaving tomorrow afternoon.
You tossed and turned in your bed, your mind spinning. The temptation of leaving everything behind, of starting over, and getting revenge for all that you had lost gnawed at you.
Emi's words echoed in your head—'This place isn't for you. This is your chance.'
By morning, you still haven't made your decision, though the weight of it pressed heavily on your heart.
You were spacing out while the first years were training. Gojo looked at you and nudged you, which made you snap out of it.
"You okay..?" Gojo's sincere words got to you.
"Yeah. Just feel sick."
"I—" before Gojo could speak Itadori shouted for him, "go ahead" you gave him a reassuring smile. Gojo sighed and walked over to the students.
You watched Gojo teach Itadori.
I don't belong here, she's right. I can't ever belong here.
You left the area, Gojo turned back to talk to you but you weren't around. You snuck into Gojo's room.
You took a seat at his desk, hesitating to write on the piece of paper that was in front you.
You bit your lip, and wrote him a letter before leaving.
You couldn't handle it and started crying, the tears wetting the paper. You immediately wiped your tears away and left his rooom.
Gojo finally came in to get something for the students. Gojo noticed the letter on his desk, he picked it up and he read the letter, his eyes widened.
Gojo noticed the wet stains, his grip crumpled the paper.
Gojo ran to Shoko, the only person he trusted in moments like these. Bursting into her office.
"What the he—"
"Y/N— she left— I think the airport! What should I do..!? She told me not to go after but I—" he could barely get the words but Shoko knew what he tried saying.
"Go get her, Satoru!" Shoko shouted.
"Don't let what happened with Suguru happen again! Save her this time! Don't let her get away!"
Her words shook him to his core. He wasn't going to lose someone important to him again. Not this time. Not you.
Without another word, Gojo ran to the car Ijichi drove.
Gojo got in and started speeding towards the airport. His heart pounded in his chest as he pushed the car to its limit, desperate to catch you before you left.
. . .
You walked slowly towards the gate, the weight of your decision still heavy.
"I have to use the bathroom" you firmly told Emi, Emi sighed "hurry or we will leave you." Emi walked off and you entered the bathroom.
