You were sitting on your bed, staring at your phone, your thumb hovering over Kota's contact. You haven't been able to get him off your mind since your breakup.
You know you need to talk to him, you need to give your relationship one last try.
Maybe if we talk, if we really talk, we can work this out. We never had that chance.
You sighed, finally summoning the courage to send a message.
You sent him a text: 'Hey Kota, do you think we can meet up later? There's something I want to talk about.'
You stared at the screen for a few moments before hitting send. Your heart pounded as you watched the message being delivered. Moments later, the familiar "Read" notification pops up, followed by a short reply: 'Yeah, sure. Let's meet at that little bridge at the park at 7.'
You sighed out of relief, a small smile forming on your face.
You typed back: 'Perfect, I'll see you there.'
You got up from your bed, feeling a mix of anticipation and anxiety. You're determined to set things right with Kota, to clear the air between you two. Maybe you can still move forward with him.
You chose to wear a something nice and cute. A soft, pastel colored dress that slightly flared at the hem. That was what Kota was into, you wanted to look your best to show him you're serious about the conversation. About him.

You arrived at the bridge a little early.
He's not here... well, I did come early.
. . .
Kota stood outside one of the classrooms at Jujutsu Tech, checking his phone. It's almost time for him to meet up with you, but just as he's about to head out, Keiko approached him.
"Kota, can we talk for a minute?"
He glanced at his phone, checking the time again. "Uh, sure. What's going on?"
Keiko leaned against the doorframe, her arms crossed, a faint smirk on her face.
"I'm just glad you finally realized Y/N wasn't good for you. She's selfish, you know? Always thinking about herself. She had you, but all she thought about was Gojo."
"What?"
Kota knew you were distracted by Gojo here and there. But why did she bring all of this up for?
"Come on, Kota, you knew that. She was with you, but her mind? It was on someone else. You deserve better than that. Someone who actually cares about you."
Kota hesitated, her words settling heavily on him. His mind flashed back to moments with you—how distant you could be sometimes, how distracted.
Keiko sighed. "Look. If you want to go back with, alright. But do you really want the distance back? She's toxic, Kota. I mean, why would you even want to talk to her again? She didn't care about you when she had you, so why would she now?"
