The sky cracked with lightning, followed by a deafening roar of thunder. The rain came down in torrents, drenching the streets, but you and Gojo stood in the alley, facing off in the middle of it.

Your fists were clenched at your sides, your heart pounded, not just from the storm, but from the anger boiling inside you.

"You didn't have to hurt them like that!" You shouted, your voice cutting through the storm.

"They were down, Satoru! They were surrendering, and you—"

Gojo, soaked to the bone, ran a hand through his wet hair, his eyes burning with frustration.

"They were going to hurt you, Y/N. They weren't going to stop unless I made them. You were being careless."

You took a step back, shaking your head. "So you broke their bones? That's your solution? I didn't need you to protect me like that, I had it under control!"

"No, you didn't." His voice was sharp, cutting you off. He took a step forward, closing the distance between you two.

"I saw what was happening. They were ready to kill you, Y/N, and I—" His words faltered for a second, but then his face hardened again.

"I wasn't going to let that happen."

"I don't need you to protect me!!" Your voice trembled, your hands were shaking. "I didn't ask for your help, I don't need—"

"Stop it!" Gojo's voice rose over the storm as his hand shot out, grabbing your wrist before you could step away. His grip was firm but not painful, his eyes blazing.

"You don't get it, do you?"

You wrenched your arm, trying to pull free, but he held you there, his gaze piercing into yours.

"You think I can just stand by and watch people hurt you?" His voice dropped lower, almost a growl. "You think I'll ever let anyone touch you without doing something about it?"

Your heart pounded in your chest. "I don't need your protection like that, Satoru. You don't see me hurting people for you!! So why do you do this!? That isn't—"

"I don't care!" he snapped, cutting your off. His eyes burned with an intensity you'd never seen before. "I can't stand the thought of someone hurting you, Y/N. You're mine. Do you understand?"

His words hit you like a punch to the gut, leaving you breathless for a moment.

"I'm not yours, Satoru," you shot back, your voice shaking, but even as you said it, your resolve was slipping.

"You are." His grip tightened slightly, his voice low and possessive. "You always have been."

Before you could protest, Gojo pulled you close, crashing his lips against yours with a force that left you reeling. The kiss was rough, unrelenting, full of desperation and frustration.
