You lay your head on the desk I front of you, feeling tired once more. You knew you needed a coffee, but you refused to leave your office. Ever since Sakusa made the announcement of your "relationship", you've been hiding from people to the best of your ability. You even sent Sakusa texts to tell him to not bother showing up to your apartment or office for a bit. You claimed to be too busy to be around him, and promised you would take care of yourself. He responded with an "ok", leaving it at that.
You groaned, not wanting to leave the safety of your office. You didn't even want to poke your head out to ask anyone to get you a coffee, since they would try taking time to ask about your relationship with Sakusa. You were still embarrassed from the picture Sakusa put out on the internet the day he announced what was going on between you two.
And seeing as tomorrow you two would be meeting with your parents, Sakusa felt today was the perfect opportunity to see you. He felt there were a few things you two needed to discuss. He walked through the building you work in, quickly stopping to grab your favorite coffee, so that he'd have a good reason to be there. He walks up to your office, opening the door without announcing his presence to you.
Sakusa freezes in the open doorway, seeing you about to fall asleep on your desk. "I brought you some coffee."
You slowly look up, seeing the coffee before the person holding it. "I don't care who you are, or why you're here. Make yourself at home after giving me the coffee."
He hands the cup over to you. "So, tomorrow you have off, and we meet your parents at their house tomorrow at 5:30. Should we discuss how we're getting there?"
"I usually take the bus." You blink a few times, sipping on your coffee. You were able to recognize Sakusa, even in your tired state.
The outside hitter shook his head, leaning against your desk. "Not happening. I refuse to ride that germ ridden thing."
You furrow your brows, meeting his gaze. "Then how do you suppose we get there? It's not exactly within walking distance."
"I have a car. I barely use it, but tomorrow seems as good a time as any to go for a little drive in it. I'll pick you up around 4:30ish, then you can give me directions on how to get to their house. Sound good?"
You huff out a breath, turning back to your computer. "Whatever you want. I don't even have the energy to try arguing about transportation, or anything else involving dinner tomorrow with my parents." You begin typing again, focusing on your work as much as you can. You could still feel the exhaustion, your eyes wanting to close for long periods of time.
And Sakusa picked up on this. He noticed immediately how tired you really were. "Maybe you should call it a night. Let's get you home. You clearly need rest. Working so much won't do you any good, you'll just end up all burned out."
"I don't really have the luxury of stopping at the moment. Since we have plans tomorrow, it takes time away that I desperately need to be writing. I'll leave in a few hours."
He gently sets his hand on top of one of yours. "I'm not saying this just because I think it'll be best. I'm saying this as someone that genuinely cares about you, and would hate to see something happen to you. I'm taking you home now."
You freeze, fingers hovering above the keyboard. "Not yet. Please, Kiyoomi. Give me another hour. You can even stay over at my house, or we can spend the night at your place. Just don't make me leave before bringing this chapter to a close. At least let me do this much."
The black haired man sighs, removing his hand from yours. "Fine. I'll stay the night at your place. We're going to my house first, though. I'll get some clothes to wear for dinner tomorrow, then we can head back to your place in my car. That way, we'll have everything we need."
"Thank you." You return to tapping away at your keyboard.
Sakusa pushes away from the desk. "Tell you what. I'll head to my house to grab everything I need, then I'll be back here with my car. The moment I get back here, you need to begin wrapping up so we can go back to your place. Sound like a plan?"
You nod, a weak smile etching across your face. "Sounds good to me. Thanks, Kiyoomi."
"No problem. I'll be back in a bit. Try not to overdo anything while I'm gone." He walks to the door of the room, then leaves as quietly as possible. He walksout of the building, heading to his own place. He looks up at the night sky as he walks. "How do I get them to take it easy?"

Sakusa parks the car in the office's parking lot. He locks it up once he gets out, looking to make sure everything was alright before heading back into the large building. He groans quietly as he gets into the elevator, heading up to your floor. His eyes narrow as he looks around the small compartment. Not his favorite place in the world to be, but he didn't want to get sweaty if he were to take the stairs. And this might be a bit quicker for him. He just wants to get back to your office and take you home.
Your eyes close as you finished formating the preparations for the next chapter to get typed up. You rest your arms on the desk, then lay your head down on top of them. You breathe in deeply, relaxing your body after a long and stressful day. You had built up so much exhaustion since the day Sakusa had posted that you two were in a relationship. You had been working almost nonstop since that incident. You were long overdo for some much needed rest.
The tall, dark haired volleyball player walks back into the room, seeing you falling asleep at your desk. He lets out a silent breath, then goes to save all your current work before shutting off your computer. His eyes flick back over to you, where he notices your breathing pattern.
You were asleep.
Sakusa closes his eyes for a brief moment, then starts packing up all of your belongings. Once the bag is slung over his shoulder, he turns his attention back to you. There was only one way to get you out of here. And so, the volleyball player picks you up in his arms, carrying you down to his car. He'd be taking you home like a true gentleman.
