Sakusa smiled to himself, having a good day at practice. His spikes were landing, his serves were on point. There was nothing wrong. This day was going well. Almost too well.

Atsumu walked up to him in the locker room, his phone in one hand. "Hey, Omi, did ya see this yet?"

The black haired male doesn't bother looking at him. "See what?"

"This article on yer lover. It says they have a new novel coming out soon."

"Well, duh."

The setter frowns. "But it says that it's only gonna be popular because they're dating ya."

Sakusa rolls his eyes. "Their books are normally popular. That's just a bunch of shit."

"Ok. Is it a bunch of shit that yer fan club wants to raid their office to interrogate yer lover?"

The outside hitter's eyes grow wide. "What?! When?!"

Atsumu quirked a brow. "Today. It sounds like it's happening right about now."

Sakusa slams his locker shut, grabbing all of his things and sprinting towards your office.

You sigh, pinching the bridge of your nose. "For the last time, get out or I'm calling the cops. This is an invasion of privacy. You don't work here, nor has anyone given you guys clearance to be here. As far as I'm concerned, this is trespassing."

One fan girl glared at you. "How did someone like you get Sakusa-san to date you! You're not attractive and you're not answering any questions! You don't really love him, do you?"

You give a death glare, causing the crowd of fans to back away a few steps. "Who says any of what you're saying is true? Kiyoomi asked me out, and that's that! Get out!" You turn to a nearby coworker. "Call the cops. Now!"

The guy you ordered nodding, fearing for his life as he sees you get even more angry. He rushes out of the room, heading to the nearest room to call the cops with his cellphone.

You glare at the crowd. "Go away." You turn your back, marching into your office. You walk inside and slam the door, locking it so no one can get inside. You sit at your desk, a glare still resting on your face. This was, by far, the worst day you've ever had since leaving school. You lay your head on your desk, not even daring to look at the chapter you've been working on for your novel. One that should be coming out in the next two months.

Sakusa quickly rushes through the building, spotting a crowd of people outside of your office. He groans, knowing this was going to be a mess.

One of the fans noticed him, squealing. "Sakusa-san."

His eyes were forming a glare. "Why are you all bothering my lover?!" His voice comes out harsh, anger filling every fiber of his being.

Another fan flinches. "We were just looking out for you. L/n-san isn't good enough for you! They won't even answer our questions!"

Sakusa bursts out, yelling at the top of his lungs. "THAT'S NOT FOR YOU TO DECIDE! I LOVE Y/N AND YOU SHOULD LEAVE THEM ALONE! GET OUT!"

The fans cower in fear, knowing they've completely angered the guy they all practically worshipped. They run out to the first floor, where police apprehend the people for creating a disturbance.

Sakusa walks over to your office, knocking on your door as he tries calming down. "Y/n, it's me. I know your door is locked. Let me in."

You slowly go over to your door, unlocking it and opening the door. You pull him inside and lock the door. "What the hell is wrong with your fans?! I was in the middle of writing and they barge in to harass me!"

He sits on the couch, releasing a heavy sigh. "I'm aware. I just yelled at them to get out. I'm sorry you had to deal with that."

You go back to your chair, staring at your computer screen as you sit down. "It's whatever. It just took time away from my writing. I'm probably only about halfway through this novel now. I had to get it done and submitted within two months before they put it out for readers to buy." You sigh, tilting your head up. "This is such a pain."

The outside hitter gives a worried look, seeing how stressed you are. He gets up, walking over and hovering over you. He looks down, meeting your gaze. He bends over, planting a soft kiss on your forehead. "Is there anything I can do for you?"

"Make a post to tell your fans to leave me alone, for starters."

"On it." He quickly pulls out his phone. He goes to his more looked at account and types the message "If I find out that anyone is bothering L/n Y/n, I'm making sure you get put behind bars." He smiles once it's made public. "Done. Anything else?"

"(Favorite coffee) please?"

He kisses your forehead again. "Will do. I'll be back in a bit." He heads over to the door, unlocking it and leaving the room. He heads down to the cafe in the building to get you some coffee.

You let out a sigh as you look at your computer screen, rereading some of the words you had already typed out. "Why can't I have a peaceful relationship like Hana and Junichiro from my novel? They don't have to deal with anyone harassing them." You close your eyes, wishing your fake relationship ran as smooth as your novel's plot. You open your eyes and stretch, getting back to work. You had a long way to go before you could hand this over to the editors.

Sakusa come back in silently, putting the cup in front of you on your desk. "Do you want me to leave?"

"Since you're already here, just make yourself at home."

He hums, picking you up. He sits in your chair, placing you on his lap and wrapping his arms around your waist. "Does this bother you?"

You lean your back against him. "Not at all. After the day I've had, I could use some affection." You turn your head, planting a kiss on his cheek. "Thanks, Kiyoomi."

He smiles at you, briefly kissing your cheek. "Anything for you."
