You hum happily as you type away on your keyboard. Inspiration filled you, and you were making serious progress with the novel.

A knock sounds on your door, pulling your attention away from the screen. "Come in."

Katsuki walks in, holding a bag of food and a cup of coffee for you. "I brought you lunch and some coffee, L/n-san."

"Set it down on the desk and take a seat on the couch, Katsuki. How much work do you have today?"

The intern happily takes a seat on the couch, looking at you with stars in his eyes. "Not much. I did everything that was asked of me and submitted more work. I'm pretty much free now. Would you like me to stay for a while?"

You smile, looking at him for a moment. "You're more than welcome to stay as long as you'd like." You turn your focus back to your screen. "What should we do for dinner tonight, Katsuki?"

"I know this place that makes poke bowls! Tell me what kind you want and I can get them around 6. If that's fine with you." He smiles awkwardly, not sure if he crossed a line.

You hum. "Sounds like a plan."

Katsuki returns to your office with the food, and yet another coffee for you. "Are you hungry, L/n-san?"

"Not too hungry, but I can eat something right about now." You pause your typing, watching as your food and coffee gets placed in front of you. "Thanks for doing all of this. I appreciate having someone assist me so much during the day."

"It's my pleasure." He starts opening up his food, getting ready to eat. "Oh, how's the progress of the book coming along?"

You grin. "Really good. I got a few chapters completed today. I think by next month, the editing department will have this novel to look over."

"That's great!" He beams, excited since he's gonna know exactly when the book comes out. He plans on picking up a copy the moment it's in stores.

You two continue eating your food, occasionally talking here and there about random things. You ended up learning a bit about the intern, mainly about his interests and how he managed to get hired by the company you work at.

Sakusa, however, had just finished up practice. It's been a few days, and he thinks he's fine now. He decides that now is the time to see you again, thinking it would be better to spend some time with you and take you home at night.

The outside hitter happily walks into your office, heading to the elevator to get to your floor. The moment it opens back up, he's walking towards your office. He doesn't even bother knocking. He walks right in, starting to pull down his mask. "Hey, Y/n."

You immediately whip your head over to him, cutting your conversation with the intern short. "Oh, Kiyoomi. I wasn't expecting you today."

Sakusa looks at the other guy in the room, the one in the spot he usually takes up when he comes here. "I was free and thought I'd pay you a visit. Who's this?"

"This is Katsuki, one of the interns here. He's been keeping me company for the past few days, and he's been helping me get meals and coffee without making me pause my work. Katsuki, this is Sakusa Kiyoomi, my boyfriend."

Katsuki doesn't smile as he looks at the taller man. "I already know who Sakusa-san is."

Sakusa eyes the intern, then flicks his attention back to you. "I was going to ask if you wanted food, but looks like you've already got some."

The redhead snorts. "I brought it over at least ten minutes ago."

The outside hitter grits his teeth, hands clenching into fists at his side. "Y/n, since it's been a while, why don't I stay and take you home?"

You shrug, not taking your eyes off the computer screen. "Sure, I guess. I'll be leaving in two hours or so."

The dark haired male walks to your desk, sitting on it since he didn't want to be on the couch with someone else. "How've you been?"

"Busy. You were too, right?"

He hesitates, not necessarily happy about lying to you. But he didn't have much choice. "Yeah. My career kept me busy. I've had lots of meetings to attend whenever I wasn't in practice. I wish I could've seen you more."

You take a quick sip of your coffee, continuing to type up your novel. "That sucks. I know you hate getting super busy like that."

Sakusa narrows his eyes at you, seeing how you weren't giving him the attention he was hoping you would. "Are you still behind with the novel?"

"Nope. I'm making great progress. I'm over halfway done with it. By next month, it'll be ready to go to the editors. It should be on time for the release my boss had changed."

"That's great." He sends a glare towards the intern, who's glaring right back at him. "Mind getting the intern out? I'd like for it to just be the two of us tonight."

You look up at him, finally moving your attention away from your work. "Is there a problem with Katsuki being here?"

The volleyball player huffs out a breath, closing his eyes. "I just don't like other people in here when I'm visiting you."

Katsuki rolls his eyes, arms crossing over his chest. "I've been keeping L/n-san company while you've been away. If anything, it's weird for you to come to their workplace when you have no business here."

Sakusa turns to him, sending a death glare at the other male. "Considering I'm in a relationship with Y/n, I'd say I have plenty of business here."

You sigh. "Knock it off. I need to get work done. Just sit there quietly until I finish up for the day."

Your fake boyfriend looks down at you, the stands and pulls you into a passionate kiss. He hums while his eyes are closed, lips pressed against yours. He takes this chance to slip his tongue in your mouth, opening. He opens one eye to give Katsuki a warning look, saying "they're mine, leave them alone or else". He finally pulls away from you, fully opening his eyes and giving you a smile. "I love you, Y/n."

You blink a few times, trying to process what just happened. "Kiyoomi, can you warn me before you do something like that in my office? Katsuki is still here."

Sakusa shrugs, tearing his gaze away from you. "Sorry. I just couldn't help myself. I just missed you so much."
