You hum, happily sending the completed novel over to the editors. You were finally done the hard part. Now, you were able to sit back and relax a bit more. You sent a quick text to Sakusa, letting him know the novel has been finished and it'll be going through the editing process. You tell him you'll get a copy for him the moment it's out in stores.

He smiles when he sees the text, letting you know he wants to celebrate your accomplishment.

You offer to go to a nice restaurant together, then say you two should spend the night at his place.

Sakusa quickly calls you. "You want to spend the night at my place?!"

You chuckle into the phone, leaning back in your chair. You were going to get ready to leave, but you can wait until this call is over. "Yes. We can do whatever you want. Which means... we can shower together and do stuff in bed."

His face turns red, and he could swear he might've just gotten a little hard. "Y/n. I'll make you regret saying that to me while I'm still at practice."

"I don't plan on coming to the office for a few days, so go ahead and make sure I can't walk. I'll just stay at your place, wear your clothes, and take care of your house for you. I can cook dinner and make sure it's ready for you when you come home."

"Why don't you just move in with me then? You could always sleep with me, then we wake up together. It'll make seeing each other easier. And, in case you get sick again, I'll be able to take care of you easier."

You hum. "Tempting. I'll think about it. Maybe I'll have an answer for you when you come home tomorrow."

He groans. "You're going to be the death of me."

Just like promised, you're unable to walk. You lay in bed, watching as your boyfriend gets himself ready for practice. "You could gimme a kiss, ya know."

Sakusa turns to you, a brow quirked. "I think I gave you enough kisses."

"That was last night. I'm talking about this morning. I need morning kisses too. And I'll need a goodbye kiss, then a kiss when you come home, then more kisses just randomly. Oh, and at least one goodnight kiss."

He sighs, shaking his head. "You're a real piece of work." He walks over all the same, kissing you tenderly. "Happy now?"

"For now. Can you help me out of bed?"

"No. You can stay there until your legs work properly." He grins, turning his back to you.

You scowl at him. "You're the reason they don't work! At least help me out! You jerk!" You throw a pillow at him as he leaves the room.

He's chuckling on the other side of the door. "That won't work, love. Try coming to me in a bit if you want that goodbye kiss!" He sprints down the hall, going to his living room to gather everything he'll need for practice.

You let out a huff, puffing your cheeks up in a pout. "He's lucky I love him so much." Painfully, you manage to get out of bed and walk over to this dresser, where you steal a hoodie and use it to cover yourself up.

You walk out of the room, making your way to where your boyfriend was currently getting his stuff together. "For someone that's in love with me, you sure can be pretty rude." You lean against a wall, folding your arms over your chest.

Sakusa chuckles, looking over at you. "Sorry, love. I'll treat you better when I get home. I'll do whatever you want." He kisses your cheek, cupping your other cheek in his hand. "Does that sound good to you?"

You grin at him. "I'll keep you to that."

You finish making dinner just as the front door opens.

"I'm home!" Sakusa removes his shoes before walking farther into the house.

You skip over to him, giving him a kiss. "Welcome home, Kiyoomi. I made us dinner."

He holds you tightly, breathing in that scent of your that he missed so much during his practice. "Thank you. I missed you today."

You nuzzle against his shirt. "I missed you too. Come on, let's eat then we can spend the rest of the night together." You pull away from him, leading him into the dining room, where you had quickly set everything.

The outside hitter takes a seat across from your spot, looking at the food. "Looks good. Why don't we hurry and eat so we can shower and spedn our night together?"

You grin, sitting down. "I hope you enjoy."

He already started eating, humming. "It's really good. I'm glad you have basic skills."

You narrow your eyes at him. "I lived on my own. Of course I know how to take care of myself."

"That's good."

You poke at your food, staring at what's on your plate. You have something you want to tell him, but you're not quite sure how to say it. So you beat around the bush. "How was practice?"

"Exhausting. The guys have way too much energy, and it's kind of unbearable. The volleyball stuff is the only thing I look forward to. Maybe you should come to the next game we have."

"Of course I'll be there. I need to support my boyfriend, no matter what!"

Sakusa smiles. "That's good. Now, what did you really wanna talk about? Don't think I didn't notice you poking your meal with a worried look on your face. I'm your boyfriend. Talk to me."

You sigh, slowly looking up at him. "Well, I was thinking about something."

"Oh? And what might that be?" He continues eating his food, not knowing this would end up being a serious conversation.

"I don't really need my apartment, so I'm thinking of moving out of it."

He chokes on his food, being caught completely off guard. He quickly drinks some water, looking at you with wide eyes. "Where the hell do you plan to go?!"

You give a shy smile. "Well, I was thinking that it's about time I move in here with you."

He blinks slowly, letting this process in his mind. "You're gonna move in with me."

You nod. "Yeah, I was planning to. That's fine with you, right?"

Sakusa smiles. "That's perfect. I'll even help you move your stuff." He reaches across the table, pulling you into a kiss. "I can't wait to spend more time with you."

"Neither can I."

That night, you two cuddled in bed, making plans for your future together.
