SERENA’S POV
Maaga akong gumising para pumunta sa Osmeña peak, hindi ko papalampasin ang pag punta rito para makita ang magandang pag angat ng araw.
Agad akong naligo nagbihis ng pang hiking at dinala ko na ang camera, phone, small bag including my tumbler at lumabas na sa hotel room ko.
Agad ko namang nilabas ang phone ko at tinext si Jovana

Hi, Good morning Jo, I woke up extra early today because I’m going to Osmeña peak to see the beaty of sunrise.
FF (SERENA AT OSMEÑA PEAK)
I stood up at the top of Osmeña peak, the soft pink and orange hues of the sunrise slowly illuminating the landscape around me. I took a deep breath, the cool mountain air filling my lungs as I closed my eyes for a moment, to soak in the peace of moment.
I’m at the middle of admiring the beauty of sunrise when my phone buzzed. I pulled it out as I read the message that appear from the screen.
From: Jovanna
hey good morning, how’s the view up there? breath-taking?
I took a picture of the sun just as it began to rise and send it to Jo.
To: Jovana
You sent a photo.
Even better than I imagined. Feels like the perfect way to end this vacation.
I sat down at the rock looking out at the endless beaty of sunrise. The quiet of the early morning, the fresh mountain breeze, and the sense of being in the top of the world made me feel small, but in a good way. I felt grounded, centered.
Before heading back down, Serena took one deep breath, standing stall as the wind played with her hair. She took a mental picture of the view, knowing she’d carry this moment with her.
As Serena stood at the peak, enjoying the view her phone suddenly buzzed with a text from Jovana.
From: Jovana
How’s Osmeña peak treating you? worth the climb?
To: Jovana
It’s incredible, I’m standing above the clouds!
She attached a picture of the stunning landscape, hoping the image could capture even a fraction of the beauty surrounding her.
It took a moment before Jo replied.
From: Jovana
Wow! That looks amazing being up there. I’m jealous, next time we’re hiking that together🤣
Serena felt a flutter in her chest at the thought. They hadn’t know each other long, but Jovana’s presence in her life already felt so natural.
To: Jovana
Deal, you better keep up with me though🤣
From: Jovana
Don’t worry I can handle a little hike. But can you handle me being around with you when we go hiking together?
Serena’s breath caught at the subtle hint in Jovana’s words. She felt the warmth Jovana’s interest even across the distance.
To: Jovana
I think i’d like that. A lot, actually
From: Jovana
Good, because this past few days, I don’t know but I feel like I’ve known you for longer than just five days. You make everything feel easy.
My heart race as I read the message that Jo’s sent to me, because it was exactly how I been feeling too.
To: Jovana
