JOVANA’S POV
I sat at my favorite café, a cozy corner table with my three closest friends, Miles, Connie, and Gia. The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, and the low hum of chatter created the perfect background noise. I absentmindedly stirred my latte, my thoughts drifting to Serena, as they often did these days.
"So, how are things with Serena? Tatlong araw na siya ang kasama mo diba? Connie asked casually, leaning in with a curious smile.
Jovana’s eyes flickered with warmth as she looked up, trying to suppress the soft smile that threatened to spread across her face. "She’s.... good. Really good, actually." she said, her voice light but filled with a certain tenderness that didn’t go unnoticed by her friends.
Gia raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Namumula ka Rommer"
Miles chuckled. "It’s kind of adorable. But seriously Jovana, are you falling for her?"
I paused for a moment, setting my cup down. I met my friends’ eyes, and in that instant, my heart swelled with the thought of Serena. I hadn’t wanted to rush anything, but as the days passed, the truth became undeniable. Her voice softened, and her expression turned dreamy as she spoke.
"I think I already have," I admitted with a smile that was sweet and sincere. "It’s just.... there’s something about her. Every time I’m with Serena, it feels like I’. exactly where I’m supposed to be. I can’t stop thinking about her when we’re apart. She make me feel...... alive."
Connie grinned widely, nudging Gia "Sabi ko sayo e, hulog na hulog na yan. Tignan mo nga kung makangiti oh habang nagkkwento"
Miles laughed. "It’s written all over her face."
“It’s written all over her face.”Gia leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms with a smug look. "Well, looks like Jovana Rommer is officially smitte."
Jovana laughed, her cheeks warming at their teasing. "Yeah, maybe I am."
she admitted, shaking her head with a soft chuckle. "But I wouldn’t have it any other way."The conversation shifted to other topics, but as I sat there, surrounded by my friends, my mind wandered back to Serena. I knew, deep down, that this was different something real, something worth holding onto.
