Minji smiled as she made her way to Hanni, basically skipping in excitement. Hanni rolled her eyes as she showed Minji her middle finger. "Hello to you too, partner." Hanni wanted to raise her hand and beg on her knees for a new lab partner but the teacher was never up to negotiate. His old hag self would never understand the struggle of having an insufferable Minji in his life. It's like having someone on your back every second of the day, and not only that. It's having someone that life just doesn't want you to be away from.
Why was life just so cruel to her?
And why did it have to punish her with a 5'7 woman that was fucking breathtaking, but just so remotely annoying? And most importantly, her ex.
Wasn't the two hours in the gym enough? Minji practically followed her around like a dog and even became her exercise partner there and would make her fail each one of the exercises, not only that, she had bumped into Minji three times in the hallway when it came to walking to her next class hours prior. Hanni wanted to pull her hair out!
Especially when Minji would pass by, ruffling her hair, tugging on her backpack, and even poking her ribs which caused her to yelp loudly and cause students to look at her. Embarrassing!
And it just seems that she'll never get a break from the doofus now looking at her with puppy eyes that Hanni wanted to poke out so badly. And it wasn't a bad idea.
"Minji, if you don't switch with anyone right now, I swear to throw this at you." Hanni threatened as she grabbed the microscope as the clear weapon that would meet Minji's skull. Minji gave Hanni a smirk as she reached out to grab it, making the distance between them thinner. "This equipment is only for learning purposes, not 'to beat your ex with'. You could truly hurt me." Minji said with a small wink and a flying kiss as she took a step away from the shorter woman.
Hanni let out a groan just wanting to swing something across Minji's perfect face and ruin it. Just because Minji seems to flirt with every girl out there.
Who gave Minji that smart mouth? Hanni wanted to grab Minji's head and slam it on the table. She didn't mean to be so aggressive but Minji brings that side out with her annoying presence.
Hanni took the microscope back once she noticed the teacher giving them a warning look. She wouldn't want to get in trouble again because of Minji's insufferable self. "Whatever, just don't mess anything up." Hanni said. "When have I ever messed anything up?" Hanni understood the double meaning behind Minji's words and threw her a glare.
And you'd think that things would go better as time went by, if anything, it's gotten worse.
Minji let out a groan as Hanni tugged on her hair. "Ow!" Minji complained as Hanni then shoved her out of the way. "That's what you get for being an asshole." Hanni said as she now looked through the little microscope, taking notes of her observations.
Minji could only rub her head as she shook her head with a small smile on her face. God, Hanni never seemed to change. And she didn't know if that was a good thing or not.
Minji smirked to herself as she stood behind Hanni, noting that the girl was not paying attention to her. She pressed her chest against Hanni's back, her arms blocking Hanni from leaving as her hands gripped the edge of the table. "What do you see?" Minji whispered and Hanni quickly started to turn red with the proximity they had going on.
And it's nothing new, Minji has been the main reason why so many people think they're back together or at least talking to each other like that. Who in their normal mind would be this close to her?
She looked around and thankfully no one was watching the scene. Hanni looked at the teacher for good measure, and thanked the lord that he was invested in some informative video he was watching for the lesson later on.
Hanni let out a smirk as she moved to the side a bit, and then swung her elbow back, hitting Minji right at home base. Minji quickly folded in half as she groaned out loudly in pain. Hanni couldn't help but laugh.
"Ms. Kim! Do I have to send you to the principal's office?" The teacher asked and Minji shook her head. "No sir! It won't happen again." Minji barely said as she kept bending over in pain.
Hanni looked up to see the group of girls at the back that kept giggling as they watched Minji wave at them with a wink. And Minji was never serious about anything (besides when she was with Hanni, probably the only person she took seriously) when it came to dating.
One of the girls, who Hanni was sure was named Park Minji. Threw Minji a flying kiss and Minji immediately stood back up as if nothing and accepted the kiss.
Hanni should just kick her where it hurts.
Minji then turned around with a smile on her face. "You're so going to pay for that." Minji said flicking Hanni's forehead and the short woman smacked Minji's arm as the taller took the microscope and was now the one to look.
Hanni looked at Minji briefly before looking at Minju giggling as she didn't stop looking at Minji. Hanni furrowed her eyebrows as one of her friends kept pushing her forward, probably to talk to Minji.
Hanni had to force herself to look away when Minji cleared her throat. "Is there something in her face? I don't see anything." Minji said as she now turned to look at Minju and waved at her, making Hanni's gut twist with a familiar feeling Hanni couldn't believe she was feeling.
"Get back to work and stop flirting with every single girl you see." Hanni said through gritted teeth, tugging Minji's arm so that she could look back at the microscope. Minji leaned back down with a slight smirk on her face as she turned to look at Minji instead. "Jealous, Pham?" Minji teased and Hanni grabbed her ear and tugged on it.
"You wish, idiot." Hanni said shoving Minji's face away. The taller could only chuckle as she went back to work while Hanni threw deadly glares at Minju, who surprisingly threw them back. And Hanni was ready to go over there and snatch her hair off. What was she even doing? She shook her head feeling ten times more annoyed than before.
She once again shoved Minji out of the way. "You're taking too long." Hanni said and Minji let out a huff. "It wasn't even ten seconds and you shoved me away." Minji complained and Hanni threw her a glare to quiet down.
Minji only stood there, staring at Hanni's side profile as she was focused on what she was observing. And Minji had to admit, when they weren't on each other's neck, Hanni was just truly beautiful.
Minji let out a sigh as she looked away. Haerin was messing with her head. She doesn't want Hanni back, they kind of forced themselves to never go back to each other, and it was just mostly a game of pride and ego.
And Hanni couldn't deny that either, Minji was actually bearable when she wasn't annoying her like a little kid. Minji had her pros and that was probably the only good thing about Minji.
"If you'd stop staring, we'd probably be down by now." Hanni mocked and Minji let out a scoff. "I wasn't looking at you, don't think too highly of yourself, darling." Minji said, poking Hanni's side causing Hanni to jump in place.
Thankfully not grabbing the teacher's attention.
Hanni threw what seemed to be a warning look and Minji shrugged. "You've blocked me from having kids, so it's only fair that I show you what insufferable truly is." Minji said with a smirk. The people around them just watched the scene like a nosey neighborhood.
They looked so good together.
