Danielle had to cover her ears with the loud screech that Hanni let out as she covered her face with a pillow. Throwing it above Danielle's head as she was now more relaxed. "I'm going to kill her! And break her bones, and just...I don't know!" Okay, she wasn't that calm.

Danielle wanted to laugh but she stayed silent. "She's remotely the worst. How does she just look at me and say that?!" Danielle had to look away to squeeze her eyes shut so she wouldn't laugh looking at how riled up Hanni was.

"We can always get back together." Hanni mimicked in a high tone of voice as moved her hands around. "No we cannot!" Hanni was practically talking to herself and Danielle was only there to witness it all. She should probably pull out her phone, record Hanni, and then send it to Minji. Wouldn't that be an amazing plan?

But Danielle values her life a little, she doesn't want to be killed by a woman that's basically the same height as a ten year old. That'd be embarrassing.

"You know what we should do?" Danielle asked, interrupting Hanni from her self yapping, Hanni turned to look at her with a glare. "We should go to Hyein's party, her parties are the best. And it'll help you distract yourself from the whole Minji situation." Danielle said.

And Hanni thought of it, Danielle was right. She did need the distraction so why not go to a party where she could dance her rage out. "You're a genius!" Hanni said as she rushed to her closet, Danielle following behind to steal one of Hanni's dresses. Because why wouldn't she?

By the time the two were done getting fixed up, after the never ending bickering on how they looked, the multiple changes of dresses, and the hundreds of times that Hanni wanted to pull her hair out.

They were now running late to the party and Danielle was stressed upon arriving at the giant house, where the hell was she supposed to park? At this point, she was about to pray and wish for her car to just magically place itself on top of another car.

After parallel parking and almost crashing the car behind her, they were finally able to get out the car. Hanni holding her chest, almost having a heart attack. "Next time, I'm driving!" Hanni said as she whipped her purse out and started to wonkily make her way to the party as the heels she decided to wear were too tall for her.

Danielle kept laughing behind her as if she was doing any better with the super tight heels she had on. Hanni really needed to grow.

And you know, the whole purpose of Hanni going to that party was for Hanni to forget Minji for a couple of hours but once Danielle had entered behind Hanni, she had to freeze on her spot and wish that she was invisible as Hanni had turned around to glare at her.

Minji was right in front of Hanni with a shocked expression on her face. Danielle took the time that Hanni took to turn and look back at Minji to quickly sprint away and leave the two ex's together. Which probably wasn't the best idea, as long as they don't kill each other, everything will be fine.

"What are you doing here?" Hanni asked, thankful that the music isn't too loud yet. "I could ask you the same thing." Minji said with that cocky smile of hers, clearly already a little tipsy. Minji took a sip of her drink as she waited for Hanni to answer.

"It's none of your business." Hanni huffed, realizing that maybe she'll never have an escape from Minji. "So I shouldn't tell you why I'm here either." Minji said and Hanni wanted to tug on Minji's pretty hair. "Not like I care." She said and Minji smiled taking a step closer. "So why ask to begin with?" Hanni's head was about to explode.

"Whatever, I need a drink." Hanni said as she tried to dodge Minji and escape for as long as she could but sadly, that wasn't going to happen.

It's Minji we're talking about.

"So..are you looking for any future lovers here?" Minji asked as she followed behind Hanni, holding back her laugh at seeing how much Hanni was struggling to walk. The urge to take off her own shoes and give them to Hanni was truly a struggle.

"That shouldn't be of your interest, Kim." Hanni said as she finally made it to the kitchen with Minji still following behind her like a puppy. Hanni wanted to roll her eyes and curse Minji out for following her, but how could she? Minji was giving her puppy eyes unintentionally as she waited for Hanni to finish getting a drink.

And Hanni had to admit that Minji looked so cute like that. Ugh! Damn her mind for thinking Minji's cute.

Once she was done getting her drink, Minji spoke up. "I didn't want to come but that cheerleader friend of yours, kept begging me to come so I said yes." Minji said taking a sip of her drink as Hanni chugged her own down. Almost choking on her own drink once she processed what Minji said.

"What?" Hanni asked surprised. "Yuna invited you, and you said yes?" Hanni asked to make sure and Minji nodded as she downed the last bit of her drink. "Is it that surprising?" Minji asked and Hanni threw Minji a glare she wasn't aware of.

"To begin with, since when you accept invites? And secondly, when did you ever start going to parties?" Hanni asked and she definitely was sounding like a jealous ex. Minji had to hide her smile. "A lot of things have changed, Hanni." Minji said with a shrug of shoulders as she walked past Hanni to get another drink.

Hanni by now had her hands forming into fists as her eyes tried to look for Yuna in the crowd. Not because she was jealous...maybe a little but Hanni will never admit that. It's mostly for how disrespectful Yuna was being. She knows about her past with Minji. And sometimes friends shouldn't date their friend's exes. Or even look their way at all.

And it's not that Yuna isn't allowed to be with Minji, it's just not what she expected. She understood though, Minji was never a bad person. She actually has such a good personality and an amazing way of being.

"Do you like Yuna?" Hanni turned around to ask Minji who was now sipping on her drink. And Minji wanted to mess with Hanni, but she'd never lie to Hanni. It's not who she is when it comes to the girl that was once her all.

"No, I don't like Yuna." Minji answered and Hanni could hear the honesty in Minji's voice and it made her wince to herself. "So why do you flirt with her?" Hanni asked and now that was a serious question Minji couldn't answer.

"And don't say it's because you want to annoy me." Hanni said and Minji had to take a good old gulp as she looked away from Hanni. "Why do you flirt with every girl around me, Minji? Why do you make it impossible for me to forget you? What are you doing to me?" Hanni got closer to Minji.

There were waves of emotions in Hanni eyes and Minji didn't know what to do or say. "You make my head want to explode." Hanni said, too close to Minji but she didn't care. Not when Minji's eyes were so soft looking at her. The same way they looked at her back then. And it made Hanni's heart squeeze.

But before Minji could answer, she was either saved or doomed as Yuna appeared out of nowhere to fetch her. "Come on, let's dance." And Hanni's ears ringed when she heard those words. Minji wasn't even allowed to protest as she was dragged away from Hanni.

And Hanni could only stand there and lock eyes with Minji as she felt something tug at her heart and made her stomach twist in ways that were almost painful.

And in that moment, Hanni could only yearn.

At least, that's what she thought.
