A week later...Hanni could only look at Minji who stood right before her with a bouquet of roses in hand. "For you." Minji said and Hanni quickly grabbed the bouquet and brought it close to her. Taking a small sniff of its soft scent.
"My beautiful Hanni Pham." Minji said, taking a step closer to Hanni. "I'm burning in the flames that you've started inside my heart. I'm on fire and so deep in love." Hanni looked up at Minji with wide eyes.
"I took you out on a date, and now it's time for us to talk about what you and me are." Minji said taking Hanni's hand and giving it a light squeeze. Hanni looked down before placing the bouquet down beside their feet.
Standing in the terrace of some building as there was a table fully decorated behind them, rose petals scattered across the ground that the wind seems to blow around them.
After eating a delicious dinner, Hanni knew that she would never be able to be away from Minji ever again. She made that mistake once and she'd never do it again.
"Minji, you know what my answer is." Hanni said but Minji shook her head. "I want to hear you say it." Minji said and Hanni couldn't help but smile as she brought Minji into a heartfelt hug.
Minji wrapped her arms around Hanni so tightly, Hanni swore that Minji was going to suffocate her but she didn't care. She could die like this and it still wouldn't matter.
Being in Minji's arms always felt like heaven, a heaven that she didn't deserve after everything she did. But being selfish goes a long way, and that's exactly what Hanni is. One selfish girl.
"I want you by my side forever, Minji. By now, you definitely know that I'm done running. I'm here with you and this will be my spot for the rest of my life." Hanni said as she pulled away a bit just to be able to grab Minji's face and look into her eyes.
"I want to be future Ms. Kim, and the one day mother of your kids. Remember all those plans we made?" Hanni asked and Minji nodded. "You told me that you wanted to move far from the city and become a country girl and just watch me be your super hot and sexy wife that you'd jump on at anytime of day." Hanni laughed as she shook her head.
"Not that plan!" Hanni said and Minji shrugged. "I like that one, living in the countryside doesn't sound so bad. As long as I'm with you, I'll be fine just anywhere in this world." Hanni seemed to melt at Minji's sweet words.
"And then we'll grow old and be all wrinkly and you'll be yelling at me because I'd be going deaf and then I'd be making typical old grandma jokes on you." And Hanni busted out laughing. "You will be the old and wrinkly one, I'll be a super beautiful old lady, I'd have all the old men drooling for me." Hanni said and Minji made a doubtful face and Hanni frowned.
"I would throw mud at you because why would those old men look at you? My beautiful woman." Minji singsonged the last part and Hanni shook her head with a small smile on her face. Gosh, Minji was just so charming.
Hanni would always say that Minji is just a corny woman in love, but she'd never say just how much she loves the corny side of Minji that speaks about love and her as if they were the most important things ever.
"I just know you'll be a grumpy grandma." Hanni said and Minji frowned in offense. "I would not be! If anything it'll be you!" And now Hanni was the one to gasp in offense as she gripped Minji's hair and tugged on it. "Now listen here you 5'7 giant, if you dare to say it's because I'm moody I will push you off this terrace and take all your money." Hanni said in a completely non-threatening tone.
"Hey! I did not bring you up here to give you any ideas on how to steal my non-existent money! At least let me marry you first and then put a pillow over my face and marry the richest grandpa in line." Minji said with an eye roll and Hanni couldn't help but laugh. As she let go of Minji's hair and rubbed the spot in case she hurt her.
"You'd spawn from the grave if you were to even know that I'll marry someone else." Hanni said and Minji let out a huff. "Well of course! I will haunt you if you ever decide to marry someone else because like...why would you?" Minji said and Hanni smiled softly. "I would never."
Hanni cupped Minji's cheeks and squished them. "As tempting as pushing you off this terrace seems, I want you to be by my side until my last breath, and speaking with all seriousness, I'd wish to go first so that I wouldn't go through the pain of loosing you." Minji's eyes softened as she hugged Hanni.
"But it wouldn't be fun for me either. Living a single second without you would drive me insane and maybe even do something unspeakable just to be with you again." Hanni let out a sad sound effect as she hugged Minji tighter than before. Who sounded like she was about to cry on Hanni's shoulder.
Minji was a little sensitive and it was truly the cutest thing about Minji. It made her so loving and just everything that Hanni wants.
"You're cute...sometimes." Hanni said and the mood went back up once more as Minji chuckled. "I'm pretty sure I can name all the girls that think I'm cute, I can name some actually..." And before Minji could mutter a single name, Hanni covered her mouth.
A glare was thrown at Minji and Minji shivered. She was a tad bit scared of Hanni.
Just a bit...
Okay, she was definitely scared of Hanni because who gave that short woman that much authority?! She stands more ground than Minji ever will and that definitely has Minji on her knees for her.
"Say a single name and I'll cut your tongue off." Wasn't Hanni just so hot? Minji liked messing with Hanni, making her jealous was her favorite thing just because they always end up having steamy sex, besides the whole Hanni chasing her down with chopsticks as weapons. The scariest moment of her life, because the chopsticks looked dangerous.
And let's ignore that Hanni almost threw a pan at her because she brought up Yuna, who Hanni just truly wants to push off a cliff because she can't tell if Yuna actually likes Minji like that or not. No one will take Minji from her!
"So jealous." Minji teased and Hanni rolled her eyes. "As much as I hate to admit it, have you not seen yourself? I'm basically dating a woman attractor." Hanni said and Minji smiled as she pressed a tiny peck on Hanni's lips.
"Well, I'm only yours Hanni. And you know that, and now that college is almost over, I would really want us to think of our future. But first..." Minji pulled away from Hanni and grabbed both of her hands, looking directly into those brown eyes that she loves so much.
"Am I allowed to be the love of your life once more?"
And Hanni was definitely sensitive too, her eyes becoming glossy as tears threatened to fall from the corner of her eyes. Why was Minji looking at her like that? She knows damn well that she couldn't have ever constructed the whole universe.
But god, she loves when Minji looks at her as if she were the only person in the world.
"Yes! I want you to be the love of my life once more. I want you forever, Minji. You and me, us." Hanni said and Minji smiled brightly as she took out a box from her pocket and it caused Hanni to gasp.
Minji opened it and smiled at seeing Hanni's chocked expression. "It may not be an engagement ring, but it's a promise ring that seals the promise of building a life with you. And that I'll love you for the rest of my life. And in every single life." Hanni was definitely melting in place as she let Minji grab her hand and place the ring in her finger.
"I love you, Hanni." And the shorter jumped on Minji. She couldn't contain the excitement she felt. See? Minji is just so perfect.
"I love you more!"
