Hanni was going to go crazy."Minji, what do you want?" She asked and the taller only gave her a teasing smile. "Hanni, you were the one to bump into me. Do you finally want to give me my kiss?" Minji said as she puckered her lips and Hanni only punched her stomach which caused Minji to bend down slightly.
Which helped Hanni grab Minji's ear. She tugged on it and pulled her even more down to her height. "When will you stop bothering me!" But they both knew that Hanni wasn't being serious about it. Not when Minji could clearly see it Hann in her beautiful brown eyes.
"When you give me a kiss." Minji once again puckered her lips and Hanni placed her hand over Minji's mouth and shoved her back. "You're the worst!" Hanni said as she tried to stomp away but Minji could only laugh as she chased after her.
Stopping Hanni by grabbing her wrist and turning her back around to her. A little closer than they should've been but neither or are complaining. Deep inside they both missed the comforting warmth of the other.
"Do I anger you that much?" Hanni wanted to yell that she was the most infuriating person ever. But instead she settled with a "You're an asshole." Hanni said as she tried to push Minji away but the taller has always been stronger. She held Hanni in place and leaned down to look at her.
Danielle's words echoed in Hanni's head, would it be that bad to just try and have a civil conversation with her? Hanni looked at Minji and got her answer. Yup, it would be that bad. But it wouldn't hurt to try.
And in Minji's head, Haerin's annoying yells of talking to Hanni echoed in her head. It wouldn't be a bad idea, but she knew that Hanni would never back down and open up to her ever again. They could talk, they could sit down and catch up on each others life, but Hanni will never give Minji her heart and feelings.
Hanni would prefer being pushed off a cliff before ever letting her guard down around Minji ever again. Not for any bad reason, as Danielle said. Minji was always the sweetest with her. But it's because things could go completely wrong if she ever decided to let her guard down when it came to Minji.
"I'm not an asshole, I'm just your annoying ex." Minji said as she let go of Hanni and made the effort to walk away when a small hand grabbed her wrist. "You're more than annoying!" Hanni said, still not knowing why she held Minji's wrist.
Or why she didn't want Minji to go.
"Am I really? Well I'm glad that I do cause an effect." Minji said with a teasing smile on her face. "Asshole." Hanni said through gritted teeth.
"We can always get back together."
Hanni froze as Minji gave her a teasing smile. Trying to hide that she truly meant what she said. Would Hanni ever choose her again? And would Hanni ever want to?
Minji knows that she never treated Hanni wrong, she loved Hanni with all her heart but the shorter decided to end things and just chose to hate her. Which is something that Minji doesn't seem to understand. They could've been friends, but Hanni decided that it'd be better to throw her glares and have Minji bother her like this.
"You wish." Hanni said as she looked away. And in that moment Minji realized it. Hanni could never lie looking at her, she always had the habit of looking away when she lied. And a small part of Minji felt the sparks, but she couldn't allow those sparks to turn in to flames.
"And you wish that I wished that I wanted you back." Hanni tried to hold back her laughter when she noticed Minji trying to check if what she said made sense. And for a split moment, Hanni let her eyes soften.
Looking up at Minji with those brown eyes that once had Minji running away from her because of the shyness she felt. "Anyway, you should really stop trying to get my attention, because it isn't working." Minji said with a teasing tone and Hanni was back to wanting to choke her to death.
"Ugh! You're insufferable." Hanni said and Minji let out a scoff. "And you're awfully moody!" Both didn't really remember that they were on the middle of the hallway with eyes looking at them with curiosity.
"I'm moody? Who do you think you are?" Hanni asked as she tried to shove Minji back, but to no avail. Minji stood her ground as she gave Hanni a teasing wink. "Your ex-girlfriend." Minji said and Hanni let out a groan.
"You make me want to commit a crime, Minji. Get out of my way before I kick you where it hurts and you never have kids." Hanni said and Minji let out a laugh, knowing that Hanni would do it.
But she kind of doesn't want Hanni to leave.
"No can do, you should be the one to get out of my way because you're blocking the hallway." Said Minji and Hanni was at the verge of loosing her sanity. She was about to show Minji who Hanni Pham is.
She's going to have grey hairs before the time she reaches thirty and it's all because of Minji. "Minji if I one day throw you down the stairs it won't be my fault." Hanni said and Minji could only laugh. "So kind of you to say." Minji said and Hanni flipped her off.
"You're worse than a migraine." Hanni hugged out as she once again tried to walk away but Minji only followed her. "Come on, I'm just being friendly." Minji said as she wrapped an arm around Hanni's shoulder and pulling her close.
Minji knew she was testing the waters with Hanni. She wondered if Hanni was going to elbow her, or kick her in the balls, or even pull on her hair. But to her surprise, Hanni did none of those as she kept walking, letting out a groan.
Hanni on the other hand didn't know what to do, Minji caught her off guard. And it's not like she'll deny and say that she hates what Minji is doing to her right now. Hanni hates being a bitch to Minji, but they made a promise and promises can't be broken.
Even though Hanni deep inside knows, that at this rate. That promise is bound to break.
"Asshole, your class is the other way." Hanni reminded but Minji just shrugged. "Ms. Seo really likes me, she'll let me slide this one time. Plus, bothering you is way better than sitting in Chemistry." Minji said and Hanni let out a huff.
Trying her best to ignore the flutter at the pit of her stomach, realizing that Minji hasn't let her go. It's something so familiar to Hanni and it scared her a bit. She doesn't want those old feelings to come back for Minji.
But if she only knew that they've always been there. Hanni's relationships never lasted because she was always absent within the relationship, she just never felt the connection. It was as if she'll only ever feel it with Minji.
"Now that I took a closer look, you haven't grown a centimeter." Minji said and Hanni threw her a glare. Never mess with her height! Hanni quickly elbowed Minji's ribs and the taller finally let go of her as she crouched down in pain.
"You should really watch where you hit!" Minji said and Hanni held back a smile when Minji tried to straighten up but fail. "What the hell!" Minji kept complaining and Hanni went over to Minji.
"Next time I'm so going to throw a rock at you." Hanni said and Minji let out a smile as she suddenly wasn't feeling pain anymore and straightened up. "You know, I'm so going to wait for that. You have such horrible aim." Minji said, quickly dodging Hanni's smack.
Hanni let out a huff as Minji ran away.
