Two weeks later and they found the perfect apartment, good thing it was now spring break and they had a whole week to move in to their own place. Hanni can't wait to mark her territory all over again."Okay, I ordered us an office desk." Minji said as she walked into their new kitchen where Hanni was already making them both breakfast. Hanni's morning class was cancelled so she decided to be wife material and cook them some eggs and bacon.
"Where will we even put it? The room is already crowded with both of our cabinets." Hanni said, a little pouty about the fact that Minji's has once again spent money. Minji has been the only one spending, and it wasn't fair. Minji put in all the moving money! Like that was indeed not cheap.
"I actually made a sketch of the living room and drew out where it'll go." Minji said, going to Hanni and kissing her temple. Minji was already acting all mature and wife like, it surprised Hanni but she loved it. "Smells delicious by the way." Minji said as she went over to the cabinets to help Hanni in making the table.
"It's just eggs and bacon." Hanni said with a playful eye roll. "But since it's coming from you, it's very much a five-star breakfast meal." Minji said with a playful smile on her face. Hanni shook her head as she served the food, with Minji helping her get the orange juice from the fridge.
"Since my class got cancelled, I'll try and clean some of this mess up and open some of the boxes." Hanni said as she sat down next to Minji who quickly shook her head. "Some of the boxes are heavy and you can get hurt, and I really don't want anything to happen to you. When I come back home later, I'll do it. Don't worry about that, try to get some sleep." Minji said as she poured some orange juice on Hanni's glass.
Minji didn't notice the way that Hanni melted on her seat, looking at her with those love filled eyes. Minji has always been the same, the mannerism that Minji had was out of the charts. Hanni has truly been the one to hit the lotto.
Minji worked at the library today and Hanni knows that Minji will be so tired. "Minji, you seriously have to let me do something. You're putting too much pressure on yourself. I'm more than happy with just this, it makes me sad to see these." Hanni said as she cupped Minji's cheek, letting her thumb caress under Minji's eye.
The taller let out a sigh as she kissed Hanni's wrist softly. "I just—I just don't want to fail you. You deserve to be the happiest woman alive and I'm scared that I'm not doing enough. So I just try my upmost hardest to do more than enough." And Hanni's jaw went slack. What did Minji just say?
"You're scared that you're not doing enough?" Hanni asked in disbelief. "I just don't want you to ever leave me again, I'm scared that something will go wrong and you'll leave because I don't try enough." And Hanni swore her heart just shattered so badly.
Hanni hugged Minji so tightly, grabbing the back of her head with one hand, and the other rubbing Minji's strong back, pulling away when she was going to speak. "I'm never going to leave you, it's been a year Minji and I'm still here. In fact we've both just done such a big step for our relationship and you're still scared I'll leave you?" Minji looked down.
"It's not only that, I want to make sure I give you a good life too." Minji muttered against Hanni's shoulder and Hanni couldn't deny that it hurt to hear Minji act so responsible of her. "You help me out a lot too, you make breakfast, still do my laundry even when I tell you not to because you're just so caring like that, and not even just that. You stay up with me just to make sure that I don't fall asleep while I finish a project. You're doing just as much as I'm doing for you, it's just in your own way." Minji said.
Hanni never saw it like that.
"You think that you don't do anything, but you do a lot for me. Just having you by my side crosses out all the negatives in my life. And I'm scared of loosing you because of that, what will I do without you?" Hanni felt herself completely shattering. Why did Minji have to be so...soft? Sensible to a lot of things. It makes it so hard to ever get mad at her.
Gosh, Hanni throws her jealousy fits, but Minji just gives her that puppy look and Hanni isn't mad anymore. Like how does that work?!
"Baby, you do realize that I only do the minimum. You're the one who's working the hardest and as your girlfriend there are some things that I view as responsibilities when I know that you're not able to do them yourself because you work so much. And aside from that, you always make time for me. What girl gets that nowadays? Only me." Hanni said cupping Minji's cheeks.
"I'm going to clean up, and I promise to not touch anything heavy or get myself hurt. Just let me do something, please?" Minji looked away from Hanni, truly contemplating if to agree. Minji wasn't so sure if to agree.
It's part of who Minji is as a girlfriend, she likes to make sure that Hanni doesn't do anything and just stays being her little princess. But maybe Hanni is right, and as much as Minji hates to agree with her. She needs some type of rest too.
"Fine, just make sure you still manage to sleep in for a bit before you head to your afternoon class." Minji said and Hanni let out a sigh of relief. Hanni kissed Minji softly. "Now eat up, you have an exam today." Hanni said and Minji let out a groan as she quickly went into eating Hanni's five-star breakfast meal.
Hanni ate hers a bit slower than Minji, just watching the love of her life. Who every now and then spoke about some random fact or even about what her teacher teaches her. By the end of this Hanni will also know everything about architecture.
By the time they were done eating, it was time for Minji to leave and Hanni didn't want her to go. She just wants to be Minji's backpack instead so that the taller could carry her all day and never leave her.
"You have to let go." Minji said through giggles as Hanni was blowing air on her neck and holding her tight so that she wouldn't leave. "No!" Hanni said as she whined, holding Minji even tighter than before.
At the end of the day, under Hanni's boss bitch persona at school. There was the baby Hanni that couldn't go a single second without Minji to hug her and cuddle her. Minji kissed Hanni's temple softly as she wrapped her arms around Hanni's smaller frame.
"I promise to come back home with dinner." Minji said and Hanni at the mention of food let go and Minji couldn't hold back her laugh. Hanni was always serious when it came to food. "Fine, make sure it's a whole buffet." Hanni joked and Minji shook her head.
"Or, why don't you come by the library? When you're on your way to class." Minji said and Hanni nodded happily. "I will definitely need some of your happy energy to make it through class after." Hanni groaned out and Minji kissed her.
"I'll see you later." Minji said and Hanni felt like a wife already, saying goodbye to Minji who kept throwing her flying kisses as she headed to her car. Almost tripping but she was fine after Hanni scolded her from the door.
Gosh, Hanni was so ready to be wifed up.
