chapter twenty-four, what do you think?

FRANCESCA AND AARON DIDNT HAVE A CHOICE IN THE MATTER; Victoria had decided that Aaron would be present for Francesca when she was trying on her wedding dresses.

Francesca would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous, she already didn't like trying on clothes but now she had the one person she was the most nervous in front of.

The first dress she tried on was pretty, no doubt. It was a stunning lace gown, it had a sweetheart neckline and a chapel-length train. The lace on the dress was delicate, dainty and fitting. The dress flattered her beautifully, although, it wasn't her.

Aaron, however, thought she looked beautiful. He noticed how she didn't feel comfortable in the dress, and of course he understood, but he couldn't stop himself from staring. Victoria was messing with the dress, trying to make it look better.

The second dress was still pretty, but still not her. It was a sleek, more modern and sophisticated dress made with silk crepe. The silhouette was that of a mermaid, hugging her curves perfectly. The neckline was high while the back line was low, yet it suited her perfectly. Again, it wasn't her.

Aaron, again, thought she looked gorgeous, but when did he not? Again, he noticed that she didn't really like the dress on her, and he understood. For the most part, he stayed silent besides saying that she looked perfect.

The third dress, while gorgeous, wasn't the one. It was a glamorous tulle wedding gown, it gave off on romantic and ethereal feel to it. The neckline, like the first, was a sweetheart neckline. It has an a-line silhouette with a layer of tulle and lace over a contrasting fabric.

"You look gorgeous, Francesca," Aaron smiled, reassuring her that everything was alright. He stood up, tried of sitting, and Francesca walked back behind the barrier to dress.

The fourth dress, well, this is the dress. It was made of the finest silk, adorned with the most exquisite detailing. The silhouette was fitted perfectly, with a plunging neckline and a long, dramatic train. The fabric was draped in layers of beautiful lace and gorgeous beadwork, creating a gorgeous and opulent effect. The cathedral length veil was attached to a tiara, which she knew she would need to wear no matter what. Her corset hugged her curves in the most beautiful way, making her look even more ethereal. This was a royal wedding, after all.

Aaron couldn't speak, his words came out in stammers and stutters, his cheeks burning with an intensity that his eyes shared.

"You look beautiful, Francesca," Victoria smiled, looking the girl up and down. She felt proud, proud to see that Aaron finally realized how absolutely perfect Francesca was.

"You- you look absolutely stunning," Aaron managed to get out, his hands trembling as his whole body heated up. He couldn't tear his eyes away from her, she was just too perfect.

As Victoria took Francesca behind the barrier once more, Aaron finally breathed. He didn't know how to breathe once he saw her in that dress, how the hell was he supposed to breathe when she was walking down the aisle towards him? He didn't know how would even be able to speak, let alone tear his eyes away from her. How was Francesca, the most beautiful woman that Aaron has and will ever see, about to be his? He couldn't fathom it.

But he was not complaining, quite the opposite, actually. He was lucky, and he wasn't scared to admit that. He had gotten so lucky that Francesca was forced to present herself to his family. He knew that he would never let her be in pain or go unloved, he would cherish her for the rest of his life, if she would let him.

Francesca would let him, and she knew that and so did everyone else. It was like the whole world knew before the two, but that's how it always is, isn't it?
