chapter twenty-five, ruin me.
FRANCESCA MUST HAVE BEEN PAINTED AS A DELICATE LITTLE FLOWER IN AARONS MIND, for he had not let her do anything since the dress fitting—that was three weeks ago. It irritated her, yes, but she knew she could do nothing about it, Aaron was the most stubborn person she's ever met.
Currently, she was in her room, reading on her bed like she normally did right before bed. It was dark and quiet, aside from the occasional cricket chirp, as it was the middle of the night. Francesca felt at peace, her heart rate was steady and her nerves were calm, everything was okay.
A knock sounded from her door, causing Francesca to look up in concours in, who was knocking on her door at this hour? Hell, who was even up? Francesca ignored her confusion and threw her legs over the side of her bed, slipping on her slippers and padding over to the door. She opened it hesitantly, keeping it open just enough to see who it was. When she saw that it was Aaron she opened it even more.
"Aaron? What are you doing? It's the middle of the night," Francesca whispered, stepping to the side to let Aaron in her room. She smiled when she caught his scent, it was woodsy, oak and musk. It was warm, comforting and homely to Francesca.
"I couldn't sleep, plus, I wanted to see you," he smiled, looking her up and down as he took notice of her short, silky nightgown. It had lace on the hems and was a spaghetti strap, the nightgown hugged her curves comfortably and beautifully. Aaron didn't know if he would ever see a more beautiful sight than his bride comfortable in their home, he would be proved wrong.
Francesca smiled and led him over to her bed, crawling back upon it and opening her book back up. "Well, you can keep me company, I was reading. Would you like me to read to you?" Francesca asked him, beckoning him over with her hand. Aaron slipped off his shoes and sat on the bed next to her, wrapping his arm around her waist to keep her close to him. He nodded his head in response to her question, and so, Francesca started to read aloud.

His hand rubbed soft circles into the skin of her hip as she read, but he wasn't paying attention to the words. He couldn't stop himself from staring, his eyes scanned over every inch of skin that was exposed and it was enough to drive him crazy. The top of her nightgown had shifted to the side to reveal a little bit of her breast and it sent his mind into a frenzy, he couldn't help but think of how much he wanted to touch her skin, to kiss her skin.
Francesca, noticing the lack of attention from Aaron, turned to look at him. She had a light smile on her face, but it quickly vanished when she saw the look in his eyes. It was a look she could become addicted to, a delicious storm of intensity and lust that made her knees weak.
