"Okay Hiro. Be careful," Tadashi instructed his little brother while helping him up the slide, "Can you go down by yourself?"

"Yup!", little Hiro replied with a thumbs up, "I can do it all by myself!" Hiro quickly sat down and slowly slid down the playground slide with his hands in the air.

"Tadashi, look!", little Hiro exclaimed as his tiny, short legs scurried over to his nine-year-old brother, "I told you I could do it!"

"That's great!", Tadashi said as he ruffled Hiro's messy, black hair, "See, if you truly believe you can do something, I say you go for it! You got that, lil bro?"

"Got it!", Hiro replied excitedly while showing off the little gap between his teeth.

"Well, I'm gonna go over to Aunt Cass," Tadashi said as he pointed to a woman who was sitting in a bench across from the playground, "Behave, alright? And don't get hurt."

Hiro quickly nodded his head and immediately ran back up to the slide as Tadashi walked away.

"Now it's your turn," Hiro whispered to his toy robot he clenched tightly in his tiny hands, "You heard what Tadashi said. If you truly believe you can do something, go for it."

Little Hiro carefully placed the toy robot Tadashi had built for him on the slide and pulled out its controller from his pocket.

"Hey. Whatcha doing with that robot?", said the voice of a little girl behind Hiro.

Behind little Hiro stood a girl wearing a (F/C) t-shirt with a robot on it, along with a pair of jeans and a (H/L), (H/C) (F/H).

"Huh? Oh this?", Hiro asked as he picked up his toy robot and showed it to the little girl that was standing in front of him, "Sliding him down the slide. He truly believes he can do it all by himself!"

"I've never seen that one at the toy store!", the little girl exclaimed as she placed two hands on Hiro's robot, "Can I see him?"

Hiro nodded as he let the little girl get a hold of his blue and black toy robot.

"This robot is the coolest robot I have ever seen in my whole entire life!", the little girl continued as she played around with its arms and legs, "What can it do?"

"I'll show you," Hiro replied as he used the controller to make the robot do a whole bunch of fighting moves.

The little girls eyes filled with amazement as Hiro controlled the robot to punch and kick repeatedly.

"And now it's time for the ultimate challenge!", little Hiro added as he once again placed his toy robot on the slide, "Sliding down the slide!"

Hiro controlled the robot to put its arms up in the air and gently slide down the slide.

"He did it!", Hiro shouted with joy as he slid down the slide to get his toy robot.

"That's got to be the most awesome thing I've seen like---ever!", the little girl commented as she followed Hiro down the slide, "Where did you get that cool robot?!"

"Actually, my big brother, Tadashi, built him for me," Hiro told the little girl as he pointed to his older brother sitting next to Aunt Cass on the bench.

"Wow! Your big brother must be super duper smart!", the little girl replied as she played around with Hiro's toy robot, "By the way, what's your name?"

"My name's Hiro," Hiro said as he stood up and pressed his thumb into his chest, "Hiro Hamada. What's yours?"

"(Y/N) (L/N)," was the little girl's reply, "I really, really, really love robots!"

"Really? I thought girls were into stuff like unicorns and princesses," Hiro said stubbornly, causing the little girl to cringe her eyebrows and cross her arms.

"Well, not me!", (Y/N) yelled with her arms still crossed, "I think robots are the coolest things ever invented! One day, I'm gonna make my own!"

"Woah! We both love robots!", Hiro exclaimed with excitement, "Tadashi says it's all part of the world of technology!"

"Hiro! It's time to go!", Aunt Cass shouted as she waved her arm in the air, "It's getting pretty late! Say goodbye to your friend!"

"Coming Aunt Cass!", Hiro shouted back to his aunt, "Well, come back here after you build your robot so I can see it."

"Huh? I'm only four years old! How am I supposed to do that?!"

"Maybe when you get older like my brother you'll be able to."

"Hmm, that's gonna be a really long time from now," (Y/N) explained to Hiro as she handed the toy robot back to him, "I can't wait that long."

"Don't worry, I'll have to wait a while too," Hiro answered as he gently took the robot from (Y/N)'s hands.

"Hiro!", Aunt Cass called a second time, gesturing Hiro to come over to her and Tadashi, "Hiro Hamada! Come here right now!"

"See ya later, (Y/N)," Hiro said as he waved goodbye to the little girl and ran over to his aunt and his brother.

(Y/N) stared at the black and blue robot that swayed back and forth in Hiro's left hand as he continued to run towards his family.

"When I build my first robot," (Y/N) whispered to herself, "I'll name it after Hiro."
