"Aha! Finally! No...more...SCHOOL!", Fred cheered as he threw a passionate fist into the air.

"Fred, you don't even go to school," GoGo groaned, "nor will you ever."

"So what? Now I get to hang out with you dudes all summer long," Fred assured as he attempted to wrap an arm around GoGo's shoulder.

"How fantastic," GoGo murmured as she lightly slapped Fred's arm before it reached her shoulder and crossed her arms.

Today was the last day of school at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology. For weeks, you and the gang had been studying your butts off for exams, which you've been hoping you passed. Today was the day to get your final grades back and pick up your assignments for the summer. It's been a hefty year for both you and your best friend, Hiro, considering the fact that your first year of college was filled with material far more challenging than what was given to you in high school.

The school day had ended a few hours earlier than usual, giving you and the gang the rest of the afternoon to hang out. The seven of you had decided on walking over to Fred's house to have a bonfire. The bonfire was planned to be contributed of all of the unnecessary work and papers you guys had done throughout the stressful school year. You were more than excited to finally kick back and get away from schoolwork for once, especially with Hiro.

The seven of you were now walking on your way to Fred's mansion.

"Oh don't listen to her, Fred," Honey Lemon chirped, "All of us are going to have a great summer together!"

"Not with the pile of summer assignments the school decided to bombard us with!", Wasabi complained, tightening his grip on the thick packet of papers in his giant hands, "There is absolutely no way I can hang out this summer. I need to make sure this assignment is done under good time management and—."

"Relax Wasabi," you interrupted, "Stop putting so much stress on yourself. School just ended, dude."

"(Y/N)'s right," Tadashi added, taking the packet out of Wasabi's hands and zipping it up in Wasabi's backpack, "Give yourself a break, big guy."

During the rest of the walk to Fred's mansion, Honey Lemon gloated over all of the summer plans she had in mind for the whole group while GoGo repeatedly tried to get Fred to stop annoying her. Tadashi agreed with Honey's bucket list while Wasabi claimed that all of her ideas were way too risky (for him at least). While all the others were occupied in separate conversations, the only person to talk to throughout the remaining walk was Hiro.

"This summer looks like it's off to a great start," Hiro joked, directing his statement toward the loud arguments going on behind you two.

"Can't have a great summer without the usual," you added as you looked straight down at the sidewalk, hiding a sheepish smile, "I honestly can't wait to get rid of all of these papers and finally get away from working in our labs every single day. It was a fun experience, but it really is tiring."

"Yeah, no kidding. I couldn't agree more," Hiro commented as he turned his head towards you and beamed. You looked up from the sidewalk and grinned back at the messy-haired boy.

You and Hiro had known each other since the beginning of the school year and had been friends since your first conversation with him. You remembered walking in on the first day expecting not to make many friends and to not meet anyone your age. You soon discovered that both you and Hiro were both eligible to skip a couple of grades and go right into high school with your gifted intelligence. Hiro had attended San Fransokyo High a School while you attended (name of high school, please don't use your real one!), both of you graduating at the age of thirteen.
