#5|| His Recovery

"(Y/N)! What brings you here today?", said the owner of the Lucky Cat Café as you causally walked in.

"Oh, hey Aunt Cass," you greeted the brown-haired woman as the café's door slowly closed behind you, "I'm just here to---."

"Have some of my famous chicken wings of course!", Aunt Cass exclaimed as she put her hands up in the air, "I know how much you love them so I'll whip you up some to munch on!"

"Actually, I'll have the chicken wings a little later," you told Aunt Cass before she ran off to the counter, "I came here to see Hiro. We're working on a robotics project together."

The smile of the brown-haired woman standing in front of you quickly turned into a frown.

"Umm, is everything alright, Aunt Cass?", you asked Hiro's aunt with concern.

Aunt Cass looked away from you for a few seconds and looked back at you before she spoke.

"Do you happen to know a girl named Coralle?", she asked you calmly, "I keep forgetting her last name but I don't think she goes to SFIT with you and Hiro."

"Coralle?"

The name "Coralle" quickly rang a bell in your head. You could never forget that girl. She was none other than your best friend, Hiro's girlfriend.

You suddenly remembered how much Coralle used to like Hiro. She would come over to the café every time you would to hang out with Hiro. You and Coralle never had any conflict with each other, although you felt envy every time Hiro would hang out with her more than you.

"Sorry (Y/N), but I'm chilling with Coralle tonight," you remembered Hiro say, "Nothing involving her will get in the way of our friendship. I promise we'll hang out another time. I promise."

Hiro would never realize it, but you had a crush on him ever since you transferred into SFIT. Ever since Hiro started going out with Coralle, you tried your best to hide your jealously.

"Yeah, Coralle. She had amazingly beautiful, brown hair and bright blue eyes," Aunt Cass explained, "That girl was absolutely gorgeous! She was such a nice girl too. Oh and she also has---."

"I know who she is, Aunt Cass," you said, "Did something happen to her?"

Aunt Cass sighed.

"She broke up with Hiro," she told you as she gave you a great big and tried to hold back her tears, "My baby just got his heart broken!"

"Oh, I-I didn't know that," you replied while hugging Aunt Cass back, "But I'm sure he'll find someone else. Besides, he's only fourteen. He's got years to find someone new."

Aunt Cass let go from the long hug and wiped away her tears.

"You're right, (Y/N)," she sniffed, "I-I just feel like I'm being a bad parent for not protecting him from things like this! I should really buy a parenting book."

You began to wonder why Hiro didn't tell you about the breakup. When did they breakup? Why did they breakup?

"Well, Hiro's upstairs in his room," Aunt Cass said after she stopped crying, "Maybe he'll let you comfort him."
