"Wow, would you look at that," Tadashi said as both you and him continued to watch Hiro and Avalyn from a distance, "So far, so good. What do you think, (Y/N)?"

"Same, I guess," was your answer.

"You okay, (Y/N)?"

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine, i-it's just that---."

"I know, you've had a crush on my dumb brother since the day you two dorks met," Tadashi finished for you as he turned to face you with a smile.

"H-How did you know that---."

"You think we don't notice you blushing all the time every time you're around him," Tadashi interrupted, "and how much time you spend with him?"

"Wait, we?" (A/N: Are the crystal gems! Steven Universe anyone?)

"Yup. Me, Honey Lemon, GoGo, Wasabi, and even Fred," Tadashi continued, "We just never said anything knowing how oblivious Hiro can be sometimes."

You laughed at Tadashi's last sentence.

"So, about what you were telling me before we left," you said, "about Hiro going crazy for other girls...?"

"I thought you would figure that out by now," Tadashi answered, "It was you, and it still is only you."

"Really? But, wait---."

"He probably hasn't really shown it over the past five years, but he's being going on and on about you every time he had the chance," Tadashi explained, "He would spend hours nonstop telling me everything he loved about you."

"But I guess it's too late since he's on his knees for Avalyn."

"(Y/N), Hiro's still a kid and so are you," Tadashi went on as he placed a hand on your shoulder, "Hiro's been all over you for five years and all over Avalyn for only a week. Don't worry, he'll realize the girl he just met is no where as important as you are to him. Trust me, just watch."

You smiled up at Tadashi. "Thanks, Tadashi. I'll keep that in mind."

Both you and Tadashi went back to watching Hiro and Avalyn who were still stuck in an awkward position.

"We jumped out a window!", Baymax exclaimed as Hiro continued to try his best holding him up with one hand.

"No we didn't Baymax! What's up with you today?!"

"Uh, Hiro?", Avalyn asked.

"Yeah?"

"We're still in this position here! Don't you think this is kind of...awkward? Besides, don't you like---."

"You know what," was Hiro's reply as a smile formed across his face, "I know how to make it not awkward."

You and Tadashi watched Hiro's face lean towards Avalyn's, closing the gap between the two of them with a kiss.

Did I just see what I think just I saw?, you thought as you watched the kiss go on for at least five seconds.

"Woah, didn't see that one coming," Tadashi commented, "Let's see how this ends."

"Wow, t-that was nice," Hiro said after releasing himself from the kiss and getting out of the awkward position.

"Hiro! You didn't let me finish my sentence," Avalyn shot back as she backed away from Hiro a little, "Hiro, we just met. I'm sorry to say this, but I just want to be friends with you for now and nothing more. What I was going to say is I thought you liked (Y/N)!"

"Huh? What makes you think that?"

"Hiro, I've been told you and (Y/N) have been best friends for five years!", Avalyn explained, "You two are more than lucky to even know each other up to this day. It's obvious that (Y/N) is the girl that is truly meant for you."

Hiro stared down at the floor. "So, are you mad at me for kissing you?"

"No, I'm not," was Avalyn's answer, "It's just that I'm not the right girl. The right girl is (Y/N). Hiro Hamada, you are not waiting another five years to wait for this moment. You have to go up to (Y/N) and tell her how you feel! "

"I-I guess the girl I really liked all this time really was (Y/N)," Hiro told Avalyn, "I'm sorry I made things awkward between us. I-I can't believe I've been hiding my feelings for (Y/N) for five years. Wow, five years is a long time."

"Yeah, it sure is. Time flies by fast. Don't worry about the awkwardness right now," Avalyn said with a smile, "You'll feel a lot better when you confess to your long-time crush. Trust me, just watch."

"Thanks, Avalyn!", Hiro replied as he pulled onto Baymax's arm and ran towards you and Tadashi, "I'll keep that in mind!"

"Here he comes," Tadashi whispered to you as you watched Hiro and Baymax approach over to you.

"(Y/N)! I have something important to tell you!", Hiro exclaimed as he grabbed both of your hands.

"I thought you would," you replied as you suddenly found yourself running up the stairs of Fred's mansion to where it was completely empty, leaving low-battery Baymax with Tadashi.

As the two of you ran, you noticed Tadashi give you a tiny smile along with a thumbs-up. By the time you and Hiro reached your destination, you were both out of breath.

"You were right about Avalyn," Hiro explained as soon as he caught his breath, "In fact, you're pretty much right about everything. I don't think I even had a crush on Avalyn. We're both gifted prodigies, chosen to skip a couple of grades and even get into college together! I think I only liked Avalyn only because she was into robotics like me."

The feeling was back. You felt your face heat up from the hue of red that began to spread across it.

"Then why did you want to go ask out Avalyn? You really wanted to. You even begged me to be your wingwoman."

"Well, y-yeah I did," Hiro continued, "and it was a big mistake. She only likes me has a friend a-and, well, I realized over the past five years we've known each other that I...I...I like you. I've liked you since freshman year of high school and all of this time, I was afraid that telling you how I felt about you would ruin our friendship!"

"I guess we've both been hiding the same the same secert for five years then."

"Wait, you actually---."

"Yes Hiro, of course I like you back," you interrupted as you held onto one of Hiro's hands, "I've obviously been too...scared to tell you."

Hiro smiled.

"Well, you don't have to be anymore," Hiro said as you watched his face approach yours slowly, finally closing the gap between the two of you with a kiss, "(Y/N), will you be my---."

"You don't even have to ask. Of course I'll be your girlfriend," you answered as you gave Hiro a tight hug, "And even if we are dating now, nothing will ever ruin our friendship deep down inside. Trust me, just watch."

"Aww, look at those two lovebirds," Wasabi gushed from the bottom of the staircase along with the rest of the gang.

"It's about time!", Fred chimed in, "I ship them so much!"

"Well that took long enough," said GoGo as she blew a bubble with her pink bubblegum.

"OMG! They look so adorable when they're hugging!", Honey Lemon exclaimed as she snapped a photo of you and Hiro hugging on her phone.

"It's about time that little dork used his big brain of his," Tadashi added.
