If you are a sensitive person, this chapter might have a lot of feels so there's your warning. :(

"H-Hello?", you hesitated over the phone. You had just received a phone call from an unknown number and decided to pick it up. The sky was pitch black and your alarm clock blinked ten thirty-four in red, digital numbers.
"(Y/N)? I-It's us."
The voice over the phone sounded familiar. It was none other than Honey Lemon's, only it wasn't enthusiastic as it usually was.
"Oh, hey Honey. I-Is everything okay?"
There was no reply. Honey Lemon had hung up on the other line and decided to give you a video call instead.
"Honey? Is everything okay?", you repeated as Honey Lemon, GoGo, Wasabi, and Fred all appeared on the screen with depressed looks on their faces.
"I-I-It's Hiro," Honey Lemon quickly stammered, "He's, he's not doing so good."
"What?! W-What happened to him? I-Is he okay?!", you questioned loudly in shock.
"Come to San Fransokyo Hospital. Immediately," GoGo said.
"The little man needs all the support and care he can get," Wasabi added.
"What happened?!", you repeated, but this time even louder, "D-Does Tadashi know?!"
"Tadashi's over here," Fred commented as Honey Lemon turned her phone towards Tadashi.
You felt your heart sink when you saw Hiro's older brother sobbing in the corner with his head buried in his arms. His San Fransokyo Ninjas cap was placed on the chair beside him, no longer on the top of his head. Aunt Cass had her arm around her oldest nephew, comforting him as teardrops fell out of her eyes and onto Tadashi's cardigan.
"We'll explain everything later," Honey Lemon said, turning her phone back to her and the group.
You watched your closet friends' eyes fill up with water. "Hiro needs you," Honey Lemon sniffed while trying to hold back her tears.
And with that, you quickly hung up and immediately hopped onto your bike. You pedaled with all your energy on your (F/C) and (S/F/C) bike all the way to San Fransokyo Hopsital, which was conveniently not very far from your house.
"I'm here for Hiro Hamada!", you boomed after you had burst the hospital doors wide up, catching the attention of everyone in the lobby, "Where is he?!"

"(Y/N)!", Honey Lemon shouted as she wiped her water-filled eyes with her yellow sleeve, "I'm...so...sorry."
Honey Lemon gave you a great big squeeze as her loud sobs hurt your ears a little.
You were standing outside of the emergency room Hiro was in along with the others. The others immediately went over to you to comfort you.
Suddenly, you spotted two nurses and a doctor walk out of the room Hiro was in. Aunt Cass quickly ran over to the doctor, who was holding a clipboard, leaving Tadashi alone in the corner to weep.
"Will my nephew be alright?!", Aunt Cass demanded to know as the others stared at the doctor with depressed looks.
"Mr. Hamada here appears to have major injuries that we believe came from a fire," was the doctor's reply.
A fire?, you thought, But...what...how?
"The fire started downtown where a local bot fight was taking place according to these police reports," the doctor continued, "I'm truly sorry to say this, but the chances of Hiro surviving from all the serve burns and injuries he has gotten is very unlikely."
After hearing these news, you began to feel your eyes burn from all the tears you were struggling to hold back.
"No!", you boomed as streams of tears began to pour down your face, "He's not gonna die! I'm not going to lose him!"
"I truly apologize for bringing you these terrible news, but there's nothing we can do abo---."
You couldn't take the rising heat against your face and stormed straight into the emergency room, finding Hiro lying down on a bed with his eyes completely shut.
"Hiro, wake up!", you demanded as the teardrops from your face slowly dropped onto Hiro's.
There were bandages all over Hiro's bruised face as well as dried up blood stains and severe burns. Of course, he didn't look the way he did before the fire, but he was still the Hiro Hamada you knew.
You watched Hiro's brown eyes slowly begin to open while looking straight at your (E/C) eyes.
"(Y/N)?", the messy-haired boy managed to say.
"Yeah, it's me," you said with relief, "Y-You don't look too good."
"You think?", Hiro replied sarcastically. He still had his wicked sense of humor.
You giggled a little at Hiro's sarcastic comment, which lead to an awkwardness silence for a while.
"Thanks," you said, breaking the silence.
"F-For what?", the younger Hamada questioned.
"Everything," you continued, "I-If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be a student at SFIT. I-I wouldn't have met amazing, intelligent friends with wacky nicknames. I would have never had an interest in science and robotics. A-And, I would have never had a best friend like you. So, I-I just wanted to say t-thanks since, you know, this might be the last time I'll g-get to see you, Hiro."
You watched Hiro slowly form a smile, showing off the adorable gap in his teeth.
"Thanks to you too, (Y/N)," Hiro replied with a kind of raspy voice, "It's not everyday you get to met an amazing, stunningly gorgeous, nerdy girl like you."
With that, you heard faint footsteps approach you and Hiro. You turned around to find Tadashi walking up to you two.
"Hiro," Tadashi mumbled as he knelt down to reach Hiro's height, "Show them what you can do with that big brain of yours in Heaven, alright?"
Hiro's head slowly turned to face his older brother. "I will," Hiro replied as a single teardrop fell out of his eye.
"I'll miss you," Tadashi added as he held out his fist in front of Hiro, "Whether you're here or not, you will always be inside our hearts. A brother like you is impossible to be forgotten."
Tadashi looked up at you and looked back down at Hiro.
"And a caring best friend," he added.
Hiro pushed his fist against Tadashi's and did their signature fist bump for the last time.
The younger Hamada's brown eyes slowly closed shut as the heart monitor beside him showed a straight line along with a long "beeeep" sound.
"He was going to help so many people," Tadashi whispered to you as he placed his San Fransokyo Ninjas cap on Hiro's bed, "So many."

"Waah!", you screamed as you found yourself sitting upwards in your bed. You had just woken up from a terrible nightmare.
The light from the sun shined into your bedroom. It was morning. Thank goodness.
"It was all...a dream," you calmly said to yourself as you picked up a framed picture that sat on your nightstand.
The framed picture was a picture of the whole friends group together, along with you and Hiro standing next to each other awkwardly.
"I'm not going to lose you Hiro," you whispered as a teardrop landed on Hiro's face.
