I've never wrote a one shot based off on an anime, so why not give it a shot? Recently, I just finished watching "Plastic Memories" and I LOVED IT! Anyway, if you've never watched Plastic Memories or even heard of it, I'm not the best at explaining things so above is a review of the whole series which also explains the plot (and a few spoilers) along with a picture of the two main characters (Tsukasa Mizugaki and Isla). If you're reading on a computer or laptop, skip to 0:47 if you'd like to watch the video. If you'd like a better understanding of this one shot, I suggest at least watching the first episode of Plastic Memories. Also, Hiro is about seventeen or eighteen in this one and there might be a few spoilers of Plastic Memories in this. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy this one-shot!

*DISCLAIMER: I do not own "Plastic Memories" or any of its characters. I also do not own the video above.*

"Ohayō (Y/N)!", the messy-haired boy sitting around the kitchen counter greeted you while eating his breakfast, "Did you sleep well?"

"Morning, Hiro," you replied as you took a seat across from the messy-haired boy as you rubbed your eyes, "I-I guess I slept well. Why do you ask?"

"Well, umm, your...expiration date," the messy-haired boy said nervously as a look of worry spread across his face, "You have only five days left."

You felt your heart sink after Hiro had said those words. You were in fact a Giftia---an android that acts and looks exactly like a human---meaning you had all normal human qualities such as feeling pain and emotion. The average lifespan of a Giftia is about eighty-one thousand nine hundred twenty (81,920) hours, which estimates to around nine years and four months. In five days, your lifespan would be over, and the Terminal Service---the service responsible for retrieving androids who are close to reaching the end of their lifespans---would have to retrieve you before your expiration date.

You have lived alongside with human, Hiro Hamada, for almost three years now in your dorm. In fact, you and Hiro's relationship got so close, the two of you eventually became boyfriend and girlfriend. Ever since you had been warned about your lifespan coming to an end, you couldn't stop thinking about losing the messy-haired boy who had lived with you all of this time. You were afraid to lose all of the precious memories you and Hiro shared together for the past three years.

"Yeah, only five more days," you replied as you stared down at the floor, "If only I could never have any memories in the first place, then all of this wouldn't be a problem."

"Well, without having any memories, there wouldn't be any point in living," Hiro explained as he poured a cup of tea and placed it in front of you, "We don't remember days, we remember moments. Sometimes, you won't even realize you're making memories. Even if your memories can never be replaced, I'll always remember them."

"You say that every day Hiro," you told the messy-haired boy as you took a sip of your tea, "Memories this, memories that. It's all cliche. I've heard it enough times Hiro, and it's not helping."

Hiro sighed as he continued to eat his breakfast.

"Well, I'm heading downtown to the city today," said Hiro as he placed his empty dishes in the sink, "I don't want to go alone, so maybe you'd like to tag along?"

"And what exactly will you be doing in the city?"

"I don't know. I'm just in the mood for some sightseeing," Hiro explained to you, "I haven't taken pictures of the city in a while. So, what do you say?"

"Alright," you said as you finished up your tea and headed up the stairs to your room, "Only because I have nothing better to do here while you're gone. I'll go get changed."
