Wagging your way to my heart,
Striped with love and gentle bite,
Paws ready for lows and highs.
Morning call from a tiny mouth to fill,
Noon time sleep on the couch,
Curled upon the roof of the car,
Gentle touch made you stay still.
Bit me once accidentally,
Loved me too much for every day,
You leave and come back all the time,
I long for your purr occasionally.
Lights came and darkness fell on you,
