My Best Friend (Dustin story)

We were all looking for moms keys again. "We are looking," I said. "A-ha! found'em." Bob said as he walked out of mom's room. "Hiding under some jeans, sneaky little buggers, " Bob told mom "oh your a lifesaver," mom said, giving him a kiss. I looked at Will, and he had a disgust look on his face, I just chuckled.
"Can you take them to school? I cannot be late again." Mom said "I can take them" Bob said "Will you make sure he gets in okay?" mom asked "yeah, of course." Bob said  "What do you say you two? Wanna go for a ride in the Bobmobile?" Bob asked 

We were driving when "Was that you I heard milling around last night, or was that to the dog or a ghost?" Bob asked Will "Yeah. Me, probably" Will said "Another nightmare?" I asked "Um...no" he said "Did I ever tell y'all about Mr. Baldo?" Bob asked "Mr. Baldo?" Will asked "Yeah. I was a little Younger then you two, standing in line for the Ferris wheel at the Roane County fair. and suddenly something tapped on my shoulder. I spin around, and there he is, Mr. Baldo." he told us "Hey, kiddo, would you like a balloon?" he asked in a clown voice "Go ahead and laugh its funny. It wasn't funny back then, I can tell you that. I couldn't get him out of my head. He would come to me in my dreams. when he came, I ran" he told us "It got so bad I was staying in my mom's room. until I could fall asleep." He said "Really?" Will and I asked. "Really. It went on for months. And then one day, they stopped. you want to know how? bob asked "How?" Will asked "Well, I fell asleep and just like always Mr. Baldo came to me and I would not run I stood my ground.   I looked at Mr. Baldo and I said 'Go away. Go away!' Bob said. 

We got to the school "have a great day kiddo's" Bob said as we got out of the car. We got to Mr. Clarke's class he was teaching about an iron rod went in someone's head. Dustin was not here and to be honest I was a bit worried. Mr. Clarke, when Dustin bursts through the door.   "Iam so sorry, Mr. Clarke.  please continue with the class" Dustin apologized. 

He sat done and looked at me "A.V. room after class" he told me. I just nodded and he told the others, Max as well. 

We were in the A.V. room and Dustin pulled out a slug thing it looked gross. "Cute, right?" Dustin asked "Kinda" I said Will looked at me like I am crazy. "D'Artagnan?" mike asked "Dart for short" Dustin said. "And he was in your trash?" Max asked "Looking for food" Dustin said.  "Want to hold him?" Dustin asked "No, no" Max said "He doesn't bite" Dustin said "oh, God, he's slimy" she said as she passed it to me "oh, gross" I said as I passed it to Lucas "Ugh, he's like a living booger." he said as he passed it to Will "ugh, oh, no" he said as he passed it to Mike. "What is he?" Mike asked "My question exactly" Dustin said. 

He went on to say that he not a tadpole and he discovered a new type of tadpole. "We have to show him to Mr. Clarke" Lucas said "What if he steals my discovery?" Dustin asked "He's not gonna steal your discovery" Lucas said. As they were arguing about dart, I saw Will deep in thought "Hey, you, ok?" I asked him as we stopped to look at each other "Yeah I'm fine" he told me. 

Me and Mike went to go find Will we found him at the lockers, "Hey you ready?" Mike asked Will "What wrong?" I asked "It's about D'Artagnan" Will told us. He told us how he saw dart in his flashbacks the other day. "Stop" Mike yelled as we ran in the room, "I'm sorry Mr. Clarke. It was a prank." mike said as he picked up the trap. "What are you doing?" Dustin asked "I told him to stop. We need to go." Mike said no one moved "NOW" I yelled as we ran out of the room.  

Here we are again in the A.V. room, Max was outside yelling for us to let her in.  "I don't understand" Lucas said "What do you not understand?" Mike asked, "Will saw something that looked like Dart last year?" Lucas asked, "Kinda of, but it had no tail." Will said. "But then he heard it yesterday. the exact same sound." I said "Why didn't you tell us before?" Dustin asked "I wasn't sure." He said. Thats when they started yelling. why, why do they always have to yell all the time. 

Thats when Dart started to move, and the boys went silent. "ew" I said as dart fell on the table and grew legs "Oh, jeez" I said as rested my forehead on Dustin's shoulder.  Then dart fell off the table and the door opened and dart ran out. They started yelling, "come, on" mike said as he ran off. "Don't hurt him. Don't hurt him!" Dustin yelled 

We were looking for Dart, I was with Will "West is clear, too. Will? Cassie?" Dustin asked us. "South is clear. Lucas?" Will asked "Nothing he man" he said.  Hey, you ok?" I asked Will as we walked down the hall. "Yeah, I am fine." He said as we went to Check the bathrooms "I will check the girls you check the boys" I said. "Ok" he said as I walked in the bathroom and dart was not here. I was about to say something when "guys I found him" "Where?" Dustin asked  "In the bathroom by Mr. Salerno's" Will said. I walked out of the bathroom to see Will just walking down the hallway. I followed him he walked out into the field and he just stopped "Will? Are you ok?" I asked as I touched his shoulder. then I was in the upside down I think and the I fell back into the real world then it all went black. 

A/N: ahh hope you enjoyed this chapter. Sorry there is not a whole lot of Dustin and Cass, it is about her powers and Will. But just wait till Season 3!! And sorry it is short.
