My Best Friend (Dustin story)

Chapter 2: The weirdo on Maple street.

I got up and went to the bathroom, still wondering if Will is ok. I went to the kitchen to find mom and Jonathan. "Morning Cass, want some eggs?" Jonathan asked "Sure I guess, " I told him. He handed me the eggs, "Thanks," I said. "Can you drive your sister to school, please?" mom asked Jonathan as I finished my eggs. "Yeah," he replied. "Let's go, Cass." he told me "okay"

I got to school and I walked in, "Hey byers where's your brother at?" Troy asked, "leave me alone Troy" I snapped at him "aww princess missing her brother?" He said as I walked away to the bathroom to cool off before I end up blowing up the school. I heard a knock on the door "Cassie you alright?" I heard Dustin ask "yea I'm fine" I said. I walked out of the bathroom and saw Dustin and Lucas there. "I am fine, guys, I swear," I reassured them as I put my arms around them as we walked to class. "Hey, were is Mike?" I asked they didn't respond "ok what did yall do?" I asked them, "we will tell you later" Lucas told me. "Yall better"

The guys told me about how they went to go look for will and found a girl with a shaved head and how they think she is Psycho. They were going to go the Mike's after school. "Let me go call my mom" I said. "Hello will?" Mom asked "no mom it's Cass" "oh hey Hun what's up?" Can I go over to Mike's?" I asked "Sure sweetie have fun love you" she said "love you too" I told her and hung up. "Let's go" I told the guys. I got on the back of Dustin's bike. As we were riding to Mike's I Laid my head on Dustin back and started to fall asleep.

We got to Mike's and went upstairs to his room.
"Are you out of your mind?" Lucas asked
"Just hold on, she knows about will" mike said "mike what do you mean she knows about will?" Dustin asked. I walked up to Eleven Ignoring all the boys bickering "Hi Eleven" I said "hi twelve" she said. This made the boys stop dead in their tracks. "T-twelve?" Dustin asked " Don't freak out please. I am going to tell ok" they nodded "I have powers ok El has powers but there Different, how I got them is that my dad basically sold me to Doctor Brenner..." I told them.

Dustin walked up to me. " How come you didn't tell me?" Dustin asked Sadly." Because I didn't know how you would react, I was scared that I would lose you, and y'all Wouldn't want to be friends with me." I told them looking down at my shoes. That's when I felt arms rap around me it was Dustin " Cassie your my best friend ok? I don't care if you have powers or not. You're my best friend, ok" he told me.

That when Lucas and mike came into the hug. "We don't care we would have still been your friend if you told us earlier" mike Said "MIKE DINNER, ARE YOUR FRIENDS STAYING FOR DINNER? Mike's mom asked "YES MOM" he told her as we broke the hug.

"El, stay in here ok? Mike told her. She nodded. We walked downstairs to go eat dinner.

" Is something wrong with the meatloaf?" Mrs. Wheeler asked " oh no I have two Bologna Sandwiches for lunch, I don't know why" Dustin said. "Me too," Lucas said "It's Delicious mommy" Nancy said "thank you sweetie" she told Nancy
" there is this Assembly thing for will at the school Barb is driving can I go?"

"I don't want you to go until will is found" she said this made me miss Will more.
"But everyone will be there it will be weird if I do go" she told her
"Fine just be back by ten please, and why don't you take the boys and Cass" she said "no" we all yelled
"Why not don't you want to be there for will?" She asked, I was about to say something but I saw El and I choked on my milk and so did mike. Mrs. Wheeler was going to turn to see what we were looking at when Dustin slammed his hands on the table "sorry spasm" he said smiling Innocently. "It's ok Holly it is just a loud sound" she told her daughter "nice" Nancy said Sarcastically

We walked downstairs to the Basement to see why Eleven walked down when we told her to stay
"Just us and some meatloaf," Mike said " they won't tell anyone about you" mike told her
"Yea we were just worried about our friend" Lucas told her. " F-Friend what's a friend" she asked "Is she serious?" Lucas asked "friend is were you tell things the your parents don't know" mike told her "give each other comics" Dustin said "you never break a promise" I said "yea Especially when it's spit" Lucas said "spit?" She asked "It means a bond" he told her as he shook Dustin's hand with the spit. "Gross" I said. "Just want will safe that's all" I said "Will" she said as she walked to the D&D table and flipped the board. Then grabbed will's Character. "What is she doing" asked Lucas " Heck if I know" I told him "hiding" El said and looked at me "what do you mean he's hiding?" I asked "hiding from the bad men" mike asked "no" she replied as she  slammed down the demogorgon on the table "hiding" she Repeated. I put my hand on my forehead, "I have to get home, have to check on my mom" I told them "ok we will meet back here tomorrow" mike said " bye Cass" mike and Lucas said as I walked up the stairs "Cassie wait up" Dustin said " what's up?" I asked "do you need a ride back home?" He asked "no, Jonathan is coming to get me" I told him "ok, see you tomorrow" he said.

"Hey" I greeted my brother "Hey, how was it?" He asked "It was good, just not the same without will" I told him sadly "I am sure he is ok" He told me 

We got home and I got ready for bed, I missed will like a lot he knew how to calm me down when I was mad, sad, he knows me better the I know myself. I was pulled out ok my thoughts when mom walked in "Hey Sweetie how you holding up?" she asked "The best I can" I told her "I know Hun" she said as she walked over and pulled me in to a hug and kissed the top of my head "Good night, Cass" she said as she pulled out of the hug " Good night, also can I go over to mikes in the morning?" I asked "Sure Hun just have Jonathn drive you" She told me "ok" I said as she left my room. I want to find will but I can't find people with my powers. 

A/N: I love Dustin and Cassie's friendship, also Cass Is going to have powers kind of like Wanda's from Marvel, not like it but similar. Hope yall enjoyed this chapter. I will do the next chapter later today or tomorrow :D!!
