Chapter seven: the bathtub

We got back to Mike's after all the Crazy stuff happened... we were trying to get ahold of Lucas. "Lucas, do you copy?" I yelled. There was a muffled voice, It was Lucas. I ran to the bathroom where El and Mike were. "It's Lucas, I think he's in trouble." I said as I opened  the door. "Do you remember how he said he was looking for the gate?" Dustin asked "yeah" mike said. "What if he found it?" Dustin asked we heard Lucas shouting on the radio. "What's he saying?" Mike asked, "I don't know, he's way out of range" Dustin said "...so of a bitch" Lucas yelled "Lucas, if you can hear us, slow down. We can't hear you" mike said "mad hen?" I asked "dose that mean anything to you?" Dustin asked "like a code name or something?" I asked "the bad men are coming!" Lucas yelled "bad men" Mike said, "bad men" I said "stay here"mike said as me and Dustin ran upstairs behind him. "You don't think..." "definitely" I said."Oh no, no" I muttered. "Mike" Dustin yelled "mike" I yelled  "we need to leave" "right now" I finished for him as I ran back to the Basement. We ran out of the house and got on the Bike's. We got to the front of the house, I saw someone I never thought I would see again 'papa' I looked at Dustin and nodded and we Pedaled faster.

"Yeah Lucas they're on us. Cornwallie is where we are" Dustin said "meet me at elm and cherry" I heard Lucas yell. We saw the vans on our tail, we went through someone's back yard "move, move" I yelled as the two girls moved out of the way. "Lucas" I said "where are they" miked asked "did we lose them?" I asked, but I heard tires screeching. "Go,go, go, go, go" I yelled "faster, faster!" Lucas yelled.
We saw one of the vans coming right at us at this point we are all yelling. That's when the van flew over us It was El. We got to the old junk yard.

"Did...did you see what she did to that van? Dustin asked "no, Dustin I missed it" I said Sarcastically "I mean that was-" but he was cut off "awesome... it was Awesome" Lucas said "I sorry about calling you a trader" Lucas Apologized as he put his hand on El's back. "Friends?" El asked "friends" Lucas said.

After we figured out that the gate was in Hawkins lab "ah jeez this is bad" I said "really bad, this place is like a fortress" Lucas said "well we can't go home that's for sure" I said as a helicopter was approaching, "go, go, go" I said as we were Shoving the Bike's under the bus "come on" mike yelled as we got in the bus to hide. "Get down" Lucas yelled as we sat on the ground "mental" Dustin said. 

We have probably been here for about 30 minutes I was sitting next to Dustin with my legs to my chest. That's when we heard "Mike, are you there? Mike do you copy?" The voice said "Cass, do you copy" that was Jonathan I looked at the guys "is that your brother and your sister?" Lucas asked "yes" I said I was about to answer when Mike stopped me "no, what if the bad men have them" mike said, "it's my brother and your sister mike" I said "this is an emergency, guys" Nancy said "Cass, come on pick up" Jonathan said, "it's like Lando Calrissian" Dustin said, I looked and like 'what the heck look. "Don't answer," Mike said. That when we heard a voice "listen, kid, this is the chief. If you are there pick up" it was the chief, I looked at the guys, "we know you're in trouble and we know about the girl." Hopper said "why are they with the chief" Lucas asked, "how the hell does he know about..." Dustin was cut off by Hopper "We can protect you. We can help, but you have to pick up. Do you copy? Over, " Hopper asked. "Yeah I copy, it's Cass we here all of us," I said as I took the radio, from mike. "Cass baby are you ok?" My mom asked."Yeah, mom, I'm fine" I told her "I love sweetheart, be safe" mom told me, "I love you too, mom, and I will," I said, we told Hopper where we were.

We where still waiting for hop to come get us, and Dustin is pacing then the boys started yelling again, I was about done "Will yall shut up" I yelled and they stopped yelling "thank you" I said as we heard cars approaching. "Ah come on" I said as we ran to back of the bus. That's when we heard fighting noises, then to door opened, it was Hopper, "hi hop" I said with a slight wave. "All right, let's go" he said as we all got off the bus.

We got to my house, and I got out of the car, "Cass, baby" my mom said as she hugged me and Jonathan joined the hug "I'm ok, I'm ok mom." I told her,"I'm just glad you are safe."mom said, braking the hug.
We got in the house, and we explained how we could get to the gate and get Will out.
"Is there any way that you could... that you could reach will? That you could talk to him in this.." "upside-down" El finished for her "and my friend Barbara can you find her too?" Nancy asked.

El is trying to find will and Barbara, I was standing next to Jonathan we had our hands on mom's shoulder. "I'm sorry" El said "what's wrong? What happened?" Mom asked "I can't find them." El said. I looked at the boys as El went to the bathroom.

"When ever she Uses her powers she gets Weak" mike said as I walked to the kitchen to find something to eat I was hungry. Yes I was hungry when we are trying to find my brother. I walked back to where everyone was "the bath" El said "what?" My mom asked "I can find them. In the bath." She said

Dustin just got off the phone with Mr. Clarke. "Do you still have that kiddie pool we bobbed for apples in? Dustin asked "I think so. Yeah" mom said "good. Then we just need salt. Lots of it" Dustin said "how much is lots?" Hop asked "1,500 pounds" Dustin said. "Where are we going to get that much salt" Nancy asked

We got to the school Jonathan and hop went to get the salt and mom was with El and mike and Nancy are somewhere. I was with Dustin and Lucas trying to set up the pool and we were have a very hard time trying to set it up. After 30 minutes of arguing at each other we Finally got the kiddie pool up. Nancy and mike got the Hoses and filled the pool up with the water and got the temperature, right and Hopper and Jonathan put the salt in. The water was ready, I got up and went to get mom and El. " It's time" I said as mom and El walked out of the room.
El got in the pool and started to look for Barbara, where she started yelling 'gone' now she was looking for will. I looked at Dustin "Will?" El asked "tell him I'm coming, mom is coming" mom said. "Your mom she's coming for you" El said I put my hand over my mouth. " Hurry" will said. "Listen you tell him to... to stay where he is. Where coming, where coming Honey" mom said. I felt someone's hand on mine, I looked over and it was Dustin. Then El shot up, we got her out of the water and put a towel on her, she Leaned her head on mike's shoulder. I saw mom and Jonathan run after hopper. They didn't come back so mom probably went with hopper to the lab and Jonathan was probably with Nancy.
