My Best Friend (Dustin story)

After Will and Mike got done talking, and I got done helping mom find more space for the map or whatever. 
Me and Mike were staying in Will's room, and Will was with mom. " So, you and Dustin," Mike asked. Smirking, I felt blush creeping on my face "W-What are you talking about" I said looking down "Cass come on its kind of obvious" he said "you like him, and he likes you. You guys can't just tell each other how y'all feel" mike told me. "One, He doesn't like me and two, he's my best friend I can't tell him how I feel because I don't want to ruin our friendship." I said setting up the sleeping bags. "Ok, ok whatever you say" he said as Will walked in. 

We were sleeping when Will shot up making me and mike wake up "Will, What's wrong?" I asked He didn't say anything just walked out to where mom was "Mom?" Will asked "Yeah?" she asked. "I saw him" he told her "You saw who baby?" she asked "Hopper" he said. I looked over at mike he looked confused I was too. "I think he's in trouble. I think he's going to die" he told mom I would say something, but my sarcasm would not help the situation. I looked at mom she looked worried I was too. I just sighed and walked to the kitchen to eat something yes, I was eating. 

 Will started drawing more vines to find hopper "is this where you saw him? Where you saw hopper?" Mom asked him "I think so. Yeah" he told her. We started looking for where hopper could be. "Here" Mike yelled from the kitchen "So hopper is here?" Mom asked "Yeah" I said "Now we just need to find out where here is right?" Mike asked "Right" Me, and mom said at the same time as I got tape. "Did he say anything? I mean before he left?" Mike asked "Uh something about vines?" mom said looking at me "yep" I said we heard a car coming up to the house "Hopper" Mom said as she ran out of the kitchen. I was not hopper it was bob "Well crap" I said as mom walked out of the door. "He can't get involved in this crap" I said "Nope. Let's just hope your mom can make him leave" Mike said. 

I heard the door open and mom came in with Bob... well that great just great. He was looking at the map thing "You drew all these yourself?" Bob asked will. Will Nodded "Why, exactly?" he asked "I told you the rules no questions, okay" she told him "Yeah." he said "we just need you to help us figure out what-" he was still looking at whet wall "Bob? Bob? over here" mom said as we walked in the kitchen. "Where this is." mom said "That's the objective. Find the X." I told him "Yeah? What's the X? Pirate treasure?" he asked "Bob, no questions" mom said. "Okay" he said "let me talk to you for a sec. Hold on guys." He told us as he went to talk to mom.             They came back and he was saying how it was rivers "And that's the giveaway." he said "Don't you get it? It's not a puzzle-" he said but I cut him off "It's a map" I said looking at Bob who just smiled "It's a map of Hawkins" he said "right will?" he asked, and he looked shocked.

Bob got some paper and drew a map from Will's drawings. "All right. I'm 3.6 inches, what do you got?" bob asked yelling "I'm not sure. Mrs. Byers?" Mike yelled "Hold on" Mom yelled back as I walk over to her "Twenty-one feet, four inches." I said "What about Tippecanoe to Danford Creek?" Bob asked "Danford? Where is Danford?" Mom asked "Dining room" Will yelled. "Sixteen feet and ten inches" Mom said "What about Danford to Jordan?" Bob asked "This has got to be enough" Mom said "It's not. It's really not" bob said. "Okay. Can't you figure it out?" Mom asked "Well, it's hard. The ratio isn't exactly one-to-one" bob said "I would say the X is maybe a half mile southeast of Danford" bob said "Thank you. Thank you" Mom said kissing his cheek as she grabbed the map and ran outside me, will and mike followed her out the door. 

We got in Bob's car, and we went to go find hopper. I sat in between Mike and Will, "There's nothing here" Mike said "Are we close?" mom asked "were in the vicinity" bob said "What's that mean, the vicinity?" Mom asked "It means we're close. I don't know." bob said "But we did all that work" mom said. I looked over at Will and he had his eyes closed. I touched his arm and saw hopper the upside down was eating him alive. "Turn right" Me and Will said at the same time "What?" mom asked, "We saw him" Will said "Where?" Mom asked "We?" Mike asked. "Not here. In my now-memories" Will said "In your what?" Bob asked "Turn right!" I yelled. Mom turned and hit a sign we were yelling and screaming  "Are you guys ok?" Mom asked "Yeah" I said "What's Jim doing here?" Bob asked "Guys, I need you to stay here it's not safe." Mom told us "No. Mom, Mom it's not safe." Will said. "That's why I need you to stay here! Stay here" Mom said as she shut the car door. I saw mom trying to dig, man she does not want to lose her hopper. The boys started to get out of the car "Hey wait- guys" I said as I fell out of the car. I ran up to the boys "Do you see anything? I mean in your now-memories?" Mike asked before he could answer some lab vans pulled up "Ah sh-" Before I could finish Will fell to the ground and was screaming in pain "Will? Can you hear me?" I asked "Will?" Mike asked as some lab people came up I got up and ran to the hole "MOM, HOP, BOB" I yelled then one of the lab people pulled me back. "Hey, let go of me" I said kicking and trying to get out of his arms. Then I saw will shaking "Will?" I asked as ran up to him and touched his shoulder then it went black.  

Joyce's Pov

We found Hopper and we were getting out of the hole. I got out and I saw Will shaking and Cass passed out with mike trying to wake her. "Will, Cass" I said as I ran up to them "What Happed?" I asked Mike "I don't know. Will was saying something then the next thing I know he's on the ground and then Cass came and touched him, and she passed out" Mike said I looked up at Hopper and bob. The lab got them in the vans, and we drove to the lab to see what is going on.
