My Best Friend (Dustin story)

Dear Hopper

(A/n : this is more and hoppers and Cass's Father-daughter relationship with the letter)

As me and Max walked closer to the clock "Cassandra, Maxine" the voice said again. Then all of the sudden we were back in the room. I fell backwards but dustin caught me before I hit the ground "Whoa, hey what happened?" he asked as he turned me to face him and he put his hands on my shoulders. I didn't say anything I looked at max as she got up and ran, I followed her "Hey, guys wait" I head steve say as we turned the corner to where we saw the clock, but it wasn't there. I looked at max then at dustin and steve then the girls came running in 

"It was just here" I said my voice shaking 

"What was?" Remi asked 

"A clock. A big clock" Max said her voice shaking as well 

"We're not going crazy it was just here" I said pointing to the wall where the clock was

"A clock like a grandfather clock?" Emma asked 

"Yeah" max said 

"It was just here" I muttered I felt a hand on my shoulder I spun around to see dustin "Hey it's just me" he said calmly 

"It was so really" max said as I nodded 

"It was" I said 

 "And then as we got closer, suddenly we just" Max started 

"We woke up" I said max nodded 

"It was like they were in a trance or something, exactly what eddie said happened to Chrissy" Dustin said Max looked at me and nodded 

"That- that's not even the bad part" I said as dustin looked at me I had tears in my eyes.

We all walked back the Miss. Kelley office dustin was walking next to me with his arm wrapped around my shoulder. When we walked in max went to the files, I followed close behind 

"Fred and Chrissy, they both came to Miss. Kelley for help" Max started 

"They both were having headaches, bad ones that wouldn't go away" I said I looked at max 

"Then the nightmares. Trouble sleeping" she said 

"And they'd- um wake up in a-a cold sweat" I said

"Then they started seeing things. Bad things" she said 

"From- from their pasts" I said 

"And these visions, they just- they kept on getting worse and worse until eventually-" Max said 

"Everything ended" I said 

"Vecna's curse" Robin said as me and max nodded

"Chrissy's headache started a week ago" Max said 

"Fred's, six days ago" I said as I looked at the others

"I've been having them for five days and cass has since she been here" Max said as I nodded 

"But cass has only been here for a few days how is it affecting her?" Dustin asked 

"It is like when the mind flayer took over will it didn't want me stopping it, this is the same only difference is that he is using my past like the Lab and Will getting taken and all the other crap. He wants me dead" I said as I looked at dustins eyes pain, sadness 

"We don't know how long we have. All I know is that, for fred and chrissy, they both died less than 24 hours after their first vision." Max said 

"And we just saw the damn clock" I said my voice shaking
