My Best Friend (Dustin story)

Well, it's been a year since we moved it was hard at first, but I had to just deal with it. Me and Dustin are still together and I'm happy with him. Now I am helping change his grade 

"That's a negative, Dust" I said again for the 6th time now.

 "Try 'Tigers86" he said 

"Tigers 86 Copy that" I said as I typed it on my computer. 

"Wow, Dust, I'm in!" I said 

"Holy-" but he was cut off by his mom knocking on his door "What's going on in there? You're gonna be late" I heard his mom say "Don't come in! I'm naked!" He yelled I just chuckled "I'm running out of time here" he told me. 

"Just hold on" I said as I typed in his name.

"Do you see it?" he asked 

"Yeah, I see it. wow dust" I said as I saw a -B in one of his classes "Yeah" he said as I changed his grade to an A

"Okay got it" I said, "Thank you, thank you" he said "Your welcome" I said 

"Cass let's go" I heard Jonathan yell "look I will see you later today when I get in" I say as I grabbed my bag 

"Okay, I can't wait" he said "me too, bye" I said turning off the radio. I ran out of my room and ran down the stairs "took you long enough" Will said "Shut it" I said as he handed me my projected.  Argyle was here as El came down the stairs. "Bye mom" I yelled as I walked out of the door. 

We walked to the van as Will opened to door for me and El "Well thank you 'sir Will" I said jokingly. "Get in the van" he said as he rolled his eyes. Over time me and will got closer since we moved here. He told me that the painting that he is working is for Mike. He was happy. Mom misses hopper, she told me that after all the stuff was over hopper was going to take mom on a date, she was really happy. But I was sad that hopper never got to do the 'dad talk' to Dustin. 

We made it to school; we got out of the van and Jonathan and Argyle went who-knows-were. 
As we walked through the school I walked over to my locker. Someone walked up you me I looked and saw it was one of Angelas guy friends. I don't remember his name... "What do you want?" I asked not looking at him as I was putting stuff in my locker. "Just come with us princess" he said as he tried to grab my hand, but I pulled away. "I'm sorry but no. And don't call me that." I said as I flipped him off and walked away to class. I finally made it to class; I sat behind Will in this class. "What happened?" he asked as leaned back so he can hear me. "One of Angela's guy friends was trying to hit on me again" I said as Will shook his head. As El sat down at her desk someone threw a spit ball at her face. I gave the person the death glare. 

Class started and we had to do a presentation of our historical hero or something. Nobody was really paying attention. I have a headache, so I just put my head on my desk. When is was Angelas turn to go I just zoned out I only listened to the last part of it "After learning how to speak, she traveled the world to spread her message, Along the way, she changed how the world perceived those like her with disabilities. And that is why I have chosen Helen Keller as my hero." she said finishing her presentation. I sat up and did a small clap. "That was wonderful, Angela. Truly wonderful" our trencher said as she turned the lights on.

 "What an inspiring story. Okay. Now let's see who has to follow that." she said as she was pulling a name out of the jar. "Jane" she said El looked at me then will I gave her a smile and mothed 'you got this' as she got up and stood in front of the class. There were small claps in the class as she was about to start. "Hi, for my hero, I chose my dad." She started "And for my visual aid, I made a 'direyama' of our cabin." she said as she turned her box so we could see the cabin. "More like diarrhea" some boy said as the class laughed "Hey, shut up" I snapped "quiet, everyone. Let's be respectful." Mrs. Gracey said
