𝒛𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒂𝒓 flipped his camera to show the scoreboard.
24-62.
they wiped the team out they just played. since this friday was an away game, caelynn didn't attend to cheer him on. but she did offer him another deal: if he wins again, then she'll buy him food.
he asked her if she knows how to cook, and when she said yes, he told her to reward him with that instead.
so looking at the scoreboard, she knows she'll be seeing him tomorrow to make his meal. they didn't even get to see each other today because it was teacher workday for their school.
"you got it," she gave in.
"yeah, you see it," he smugly nodded, turning it back to himself. he was in the process of walking out of the school with his team to load the charter bus that'll escort him back to their own school — to their cars. "we goin to playoffs."
"where are you playing those?"
"we'on know yet. we gotta wait for the other schools."
"well let me know. i want to go to at least one."
he smiled, looking away from his phone to act like he was paying more attention to where he's walking, but in reality..
"i got you," he told her.
he climbed onto the charter bus and went to his seat in the back where akari already sat, looking through his bag for the charger to his phone.
"you can wait outside my house when we get back?" he asked him. "i'm just goin in to grab clothes."
