𝒕𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚 morning, the day after their long weekend break, caelynn awoke with the biggest headache ever.
it hurt so bad, it made her cry.
it felt like someone was harshly drilling into her skull with a jackhammer. that's how bad it hurt. it wasn't even a headache at this point. it's a migraine, and yet, she was grateful to this migraine because it got her out of going to school.
she has no tests today. the only test she has this week is for history, and that isn't until thursday. she has to turn in the review packet tomorrow, but she may work around that by having one of her friends turn it in for her.
then after the test on thursday..
she hasn't asked her aunt and uncle yet, but regardless if they say yes or no, caelynn isn't going at all. she's not going friday or the four days next week. she's starting her summer early just like the seniors.
she's so completely over it. she's done.
both the school and the gossipers inside can kiss her ass.
she's sick of it all.
she climbed out of bed, feeling a wave of dizziness hit her that temporarily left her vision black. she stopped moving quickly, holding onto the end of her mattress until the vertigo faded and she was able to walk again.
she carried herself to the door next to hers, knocking on it softly before slowly turning the knob to peek her head inside.
just as she expected, her brother was sleeping soundly.
