"are you even coming to school on friday?"
𝒄𝒂𝒆𝒍𝒚𝒏𝒏 shook her head no at jalen's question. she scrolled along pinterest on her ipad, finding so many food recipes, outfit inspirations, hair styles and designs for tattoos and nails alike.
she loves pinterest so much.
sometimes she wishes she could be pinterest.
....
that didn't make any sense.
"i don't see any point in coming," she told jalen, xavion and dehja. "it's only one day. i might as well start my weekend early then come back monday."
today is tuesday. there's no school tomorrow (wednesday) and thursday. they're conference days for parents and also teacher workdays, so students are allowed to stay home. however, there's still school on friday, which makes absolutely no sense to caelynn.
you want to give her two free days off then expect her to return for one day just to end up getting two more days off again (the weekend)?
no thank you.
how about she takes friday off too? then she'll have a three day weekend. or technically a five day weekend if she counts wednesday and thursday.
she likes the sound of that much better, and she knows she's not the only one thinking the same thing.
watch how half of the school will be out on friday because of how pointless it is to show.
