𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 like last friday, caelynn participated in another long drive to see zakiar play in the final intense game. except this time, she didn't drive. she rode with zakiar's parents and his siblings.
they got in contact with her to extend the offer. zakiar doesn't even know they brought her. in fact, he doesn't know she's here at all.
he thought she wouldn't be able to make this one because she was leaving to spend the spring break with her brother.
that's what she told him.
he was disappointed, but he understood.
so imagine his surprise when he happened to look in the bleachers where his family sat and saw caelynn sitting with them.
they met eyes and smiled, but it was him who looked away.
he should've known.
his parents were acting all suspicious this morning with him too.
they suck at keeping secrets, so of course they went through caelynn.

he really should have known.
caelynn laughed a little when he turned away to concentrate on his warmups the coaches were leading them through.
as her gaze traveled away, she met a different pair of eyes belonging to a basketball player on the opposing team.
the boy looked from her to zakiar before saying something to his teammates, and while caelynn furrowed her brows a bit, she brushed it away.
she doesn't know any of these boys from this school.
