𝒛𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒂𝒓 stirred awake close to around four in the morning from a lack of a familiar warmth. his brows furrowed and he slowly blinked his eyes open, being met with the other side of his bed empty.
he frowned, looking around his room in confusion.
just when he was about to climb out of his covers, his door lightly pushed itself open and some one walked in.
"are you okay?" caelynn wondered, "what's wrong?" she climbed back into the bed beside him.
a nightmare perhaps?
he's frowning as if he woke up from one.
but he only shook his head and held his arm open for her to come closer.
caelynn rightfully returned to his side, and the two of them laid back down together. she observed his face some more, but it soon disappeared from her sight once he laid it in her neck.
she didn't move him. she didn't speak further. she didn't disturb him from going back to sleep.
she just rested her head on his chest, letting the steady rhythm of his heartbeat ease her into her own slumber.
it didn't take her long to fall out, and just like that, the two were out as if they never woke.
