(N) stands at the bottom of the hill gripping his bag. His eyes widen as he sees Myles in his school uniform standing under a tree. Suddenly the male claps his hands together and yells. "Please! Please let me graduate this time!" (N) immediately looks down and grits his teeth. He stares at the ground as Myles gasps. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't know someone was here!" (N) clenches his fist as he hears Myles walk past him. "E-Excuse me."
Leaves fall from the trees as (N) bites his lip. Gripping his bag tighter (N) turns around and yells. "Myles!" (N) drops his bag, runs to Myles, and embraces the male. "Myles! I'm right here! Don't leave me!" Myles hugs (N) back and slightly pulls away. "You had me worried for a second. I thought you weren't going to say anything and keep walking. Almost like you wished we'd never met. I hoped it wasn't true." (N) inhales sharply and pulls the male closer.
"Meeting you was the best thing that happened to me. You made me so happy. I know things were hard but please don't ever regret the time we've spent together." (N) pulls away as tears roll down his face. He cups Myles's face and kisses him. "I won't regret it. Ever. Thank you." Myles gasps as (N) hugs him and picks him up. - - - - (N) looks around the room as a baby cries. He looks down to see Myles holding his hand with his eyes closed. "M-Myles?" Brown eyes flutter open and gaze at (e/c) one's. "(N). What's wrong? You look upset?" "You...you're really here?" Myles smiles wearily. "Of course I am. Just like we promised. I'm not going anywhere."
(N) squeezes Myles's hand and looks up as Laura approaches him. "There's no need to worry about your baby or Myles. They both are healthy. Congratulations." A bump on his head causes (N) to look up. "Congratulations. Kiddo." Ash smiles and Clara gently claps her hands. "Congratulations." After bathing River (N) holds her in his arms. Myles watches them from the bed and smiles. "I hope she's as strong as she is now when she grows up."
(N) smiles. "She will be. I just know it." (N) climbs into bed and gently lays River down beside Myles. Myles smiles and starts singing the Dango family song. (N) joins him while Laura holds a teary-eyed Clara. Ash sighs happily outside as she puffs out a puff of smoke. - Myles walks underneath an umbrella beside (N) as he pushes the baby stroller. - Ash grins as she bounces River in her arms. - At the park, Ash and Clara watch as (N) tries to get River to walk towards him. Myles laughs as River starts to crawl towards (N). - River excitedly looks around as her family sings happy birthday to her. She blows out the candles and everyone claps. - "Alright. You ready?!" "Yeah! Bring it!" Ash chuckles and gently tosses the ball. River swings and misses as (N) catches the ball. "Aw man." (N) chuckles and pats the top of her helmet. "Don't worry. You'll get it next time." "Yeah!" - River hums happily while eating a sandwich. Across from her (N) chuckles and points to his mouth. "You've got a crumb right here." River turns to Myles and he wipes her mouth off. Soon the train stops at the next station and (N) glances at a gift shop. He taps River's head and she looks up. "Want me to buy you a toy?" She nods excitedly. - River looks at all the toys in the shop but still hasn't chosen one. (N) walks over to a shelf and holds up a toy robot. Myles tilts his head to the side and laughs. "A robot huh?" (N) looks at him and pouts. "I'm trying my best here." "I know. Hey River! Look what Daddy picked out for you!" River runs over and smiles brightly. "Cool!" - - The three exit the train and River takes off running. "Oh. River! Wait for us!" Myles calls out running after the girl. (N) chuckles and runs after his family. - - (N) and Myles sits under a tree watching River run through the flowers with her toy. She stops running and looks at her parents. "Hehehe hi, Daddy! Hi Papa!" River giggles waving frantically, (N) and Myles smile while waving back. (N) wraps his arm around Myles and pulls him into his chest. - River excitedly runs over to her great-grandmother and rambles about her day. Cindy pats her head and smiles at Myles and (N).
