As Ozai walked back to the house, he was still thinking about all the technical aspects of the radio. The technology was still something of a novelty to him; though TuZin do have radios, he had never met someone who could fix them. But Republic City was a place where the economy has created protection for them to grow. Meanwhile, TuZin is a more protective country, and although the commerce is open, anyone who wants to open a repair stall for anything first needs to show that they are a master of the craft they want to repair.

His thoughts were interrupted by a sudden explosion, destroying the calm of the night.

The explosion seemed to come from a nearby store, its door wide open from the shockwave. Ozai looked at the place, and his feet moved without hesitation toward the store. As he approached, he saw smoke coming from a small shop ahead, as if a chunk of sand was sent away.

Other people besides Ozai were already around the place. A middle-aged was standing at the edge of the sidewalk, clutching her purse as if it would protect her from the violence.

"What happened?" Ozai asked her.

"They... they're here. The Equalists," the woman stammered.

Ozai's eyes narrowed. "Call the police," Ozai instructed, his voice firm. "Now."

The woman nodded shakily and hurried off to find a phone. Ozai, however, wasn't willing to wait.

He couldn't just stand by while others were in danger. He knew that he promised Police Chief Lin that he wouldn't act as a policeman. But she did not respect her side of the bargain, so he decided to act.

He stepped forward, moving cautiously but quickly toward the shop entrance. The door opened with a small push, and as he approached, he could hear muffled sounds from within, voices, footsteps, and the occasional groan of someone in pain.

Peering inside, he saw a group of 4 people wearing masks. They were moving in quick, coordinated movements, dragging the tied bodies of some men who were still moving, struggling with the ropes. Ozai's jaw tightened. These weren't just common thugs. They were trained in combat.

Taking a deep breath, Ozai stepped in. He was afraid, though.

He was sure he could defeat all of them easily, but he had always trained against opponents who he knew could support his attacks, and even then, he retrained so much. Only when he was training with his parents or when he was training with Toph or Vegeta was he able to allow himself to fight freely.

Someone saw him and grabbed one of the people and trwo it with force to the back of the store. "They got back up. Throw them inside the truck and then help me here."

Ozai clenched his fists. He had no love for violence, but he couldn't let these people be taken.

One of the Equalists threw another person to the back of the store.

Without thinking, Ozai moved. He leaped across the place in a quick, low jump and stopped in front of one of them. As he did want to defeat them but not kill them, so he punched the person in the stomach as weak as he could, which was difficult as he was upset with all of this.

A man jumped behind Ozai, and he just stepped to one side to evade one of his punches, and then Ozai saw the way of his fist. The attacker continued, and Ozai kept moving from one side to another to evade the punches, but Ozai realized something. The way they hold their fist, where the punches are directed to.

"Chii blockers," Ozai mumbled to himself and then grabbed the attacker's wrist before punching the shoulder. Ozai may not know Chii blocking, but if he held back enough, he can dislocate joints, such as the shoulder.
