Chapter 18

I slowly woke up letting out a small groan of discomfort and sat up slowly, I looked around and saw I was lying in a hospital bed. I moved to sit on the edge of the bed and looked down at the ground. My stomach felt like it was turning as I looked up and saw Michael sitting in a chair in the corner asleep.

I glared at his sleeping frame before feeling something coming up my throat, I covered my mouth ran Into the bathroom lifted the toilet, and threw up.

I leaned over the toilet and kept throwing up as I heard movement and quick footsteps. I felt someone move my hair back and rub my back gently, a few moments later I stopped but stayed there.

"It's alright girl I'm here," said Michael softly still rubbing my back as I groaned

"I feel so sick," said Y/n lifting her head slowly before flushing the toilet

"It's gonna be alright just take some deep breaths and take your time, I'll go grab a doctor and get you some water, How does that sound?" said Michael softly helping Y/n stand an arm around her waist

Michael walked Y/n by the sink as she turned on the faucet, and spit and rinsed her mouth out.
Y/n washed her hands and then dried them as she turned the sink off, and walked out with Michael. She felt a little dizzy and her stomach was in knots as she leaned on him as they walked. Michael sat her down on the bed gently and kissed her on the forehead, then walked away and left to go get a doctor.

Y/n watched as he left and laid back down with an arm over her face. Her mind raced with so much about Michael and then Marcus, everything that was happening and that had Happened crossed her mind. Y/n's body felt tired and weak she didn't understand why, she wasn't sick or hadn't eaten anything.

She just laid there quietly as the clock on the wall ticked lowly. Time passed as the door opened and walked in was a male doctor and Michael.

Y/n sat up to greet the doctor as the doctor walked over with a smile. Michael walked over and stood by her side with a worried look.

"Hi, Miss L/n I'm Dr. Rooks and I'm going to give you a quick check-up, to see what's wrong," said Dr. Rooks with a smile and put on some gloves as he grabbed some things to check her

He put on his stethoscope and placed it over her heart and placed a gentle hand on her back.

"Take some deep breaths for me please," said Dr. Rooks listening to her heart rate

Y/n nodded and took some deep breaths as the doctor nodded then stopped after a while. The whole time Michael was looking over Y/n, and giving the doctor a side eye with a dirty look. Dr. Rooks grabbed a blood pressure monitor and wrapped it around her arm, he turned it on as it slowly put pressure on her arm and checked her levels.

She sat there quietly for a few moments as the monitor let out a small beep. The doctor checked the monitor and nodded then took it off her arm.

"Well, Miss L/n you're blood pressure is normal and your heart rate is normal as well, you don't have a fever or the flu. Can I ask you a few questions about how you're feeling?" said Dr. Rooks with a concerned look now holding a clipboard and pen

"Sure," said Y/n looking at him slightly concerned

"Alrighty, have you been feeling like this a lot lately? Is there anything you've eaten that could cause you to feel sick? Have you come in contact with someone sick?" said Dr.Rooks waiting for her reply

"Um no I just started feeling like this today and I've only eaten fresh fruits and drank water earlier. No, I haven't been in any contact with anyone sick" said Y/n looking at The Doctor as he wrote stuff down on his clipboard

"Okay well, Miss L/n have you been intimate lately with anyone?" said Dr. Rooks

"Yes I have" said Y/n with a subtle nod of her head and looking at the doctor as he wrote something else down

"Miss L/n from what you're telling me and my experience as a doctor, I believe you may be pregnant," said Dr. Rooks with a smile

Y/n's eyes went wide with shock as she looked at the doctor and then glanced at Michael, who was just as shocked. She glared at him and then looked back at the doctor.

"You sure there isn't some mistake, I can't be pregnant," said Y/n slowly in disbelief about this whole situation

"I'm afraid not you're showing the symptoms of pregnancy, but I will have a nurse come in and escort you to a room where you can get an ultrasound," said Dr. Rooks with a smile and turned to leave as Y/n watched him walked out the room

Y/n looked down at the floor speechless, While Michael just recovered from his state of shock. Michael was happy as he smiled brightly he was going to be a dad, and Y/n the girl he loved more than anything was carrying his child. Michael felt like he was on cloud nine after hearing this news. Y/n couldn't leave him at all not with her carrying his baby, this excited him even more as he looked at her.

"Cheer up aren't you happy we're going to be parents," said Michael smiling and moving to sit down by her

"Michael don't you think we're too young and not ready for a baby right now" said Y/n looking up at him with a worried and scared look

"I understand you but I think we'll be great parents and I've always wanted to be a dad. I'm going to love this baby and you forever I'll take care of you both" said Michael honestly with a serious experssion as he kissed her cheek

Y/n nodded slowly and smiled a bit and leaned against him for comfort, He wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly. They both remained quiet and enjoyed the moment.
