The Gilbert Secret

Chapter 5

Surprise, I heard you were doing dinner, so we brought dessert" I smirk back at Damon playing along with his plan "Oh" Elena looks a little shocked but smiles slightly "hope you don't mind" Stefan walks into view and gives us both a worried look "What are you doing here" "were waiting for Elena to invite us in" Damon filled me in on the drive over that to enter a property owned by someone we have to be welcomed in. And since I'm technically dead the house falls to Elena and Jeremy.  "Of course, you ca-" Before she can speak Stefan cuts her off "No, no, no they can't stay. You can't stay can you. Aurora" looking towards me with pleading eyes. Who is he to not allow me to step foot into my own place, to be near my own siblings? I'm feeling anger brewing deep inside of me, clenching my fists and my jaw trying to calm myself down as I feel the hunger wanting to rise. Damon notices my Raising anger and runs his hand down my back which calms me instantly.

"We're just... finishing up" Stefan almost growls in protest "It's fine. Just come on in" Elena announces with a friendly smile towards us. Watching Damon as he takes a teasing step inside, I follow behind him.

"You have a beautiful home, Elena. I could never imagine why you had to leave Aurora" "Thank you" Placing the dessert on the Bench in the kitchen I make my way to the living room as Damon is being shut down by Stefan. Elena gets up and starts to collect the dishes with Damon rushing to aid. Giving him a weird look, he just smiles back and continues through to the kitchen with glasses in his hands. "What are you doing here Aurora, why are you playing his game" Stefan turns to me once they leave the room "I didn't really have much of a choice. I didn't see you trying to save Caroline" "Is that really what this is about. Helping Caroline. I saw you leaving his room this afternoon" "so what? Never seen people use each other for pleasure. What's the big deal is that it like it affects anything. Now get off my back. you don't know me you don't know whats best for me" "What are you two kids talking about?" Damon walks over to me observing Stefans closeness and how I'm l looking like I'm about to attack him "I was just reminding Aurora, to be careful where is walking, don't want her to get hurt" Stefan looks up to Damon stares into his eyes trying to intimidate him. "Hey Aurora, would you mind going to help Elena and Bonnie out in the kitchen?"  Rolling my eyes, I get up and leave the brothers to have their much needed conversation.

"Hey Aurora, how are you feeling?" I just smiled at Bonnie and nodded my head. "Do you guys need help?" "No, we've just finishing up, thank you. I'm happy you came tonight, its good seeing you again" "Yea it was good. Interesting but good. So, you and Stefan Aye. Tell me about it, when did it start?" Elena blushes and looks down "yea he's amazing, he's real understanding and thoughtful" "I'm really happy for you Elena, I might head off now, I'll see you both around, Bye Bonnie Bye Elena" giving them a quick hug I head back to the living area and Damon gets the cue for us to leave.

"I hate your brother. He acts like he knows me, Treats me like I'm Helpless" Damon chuckles "Thats Stefan for you, The Good guy. The better brother" looking over at Damon I grab his hand and giving it a squeeze "You've been the one who has been here for me not him, he was meant to help me but where was he today, out obsessing over my sister..." Looking down at my hands as I place them on my lap "Why don't we go out, have some real fun" I suggest and turn to meet Damons eyes "now that's what I'm talking about, I knew you'd be fun" Damon turns his car around and puts his foot down "I know the perfect place, and a witch who can help you with your sunlight problem, let's just say she woes me a favor"

It felt like hardly any time had passed but when I check my phone it has been a few hours when we pull into a Busy little Bar "Damon I'm still technically under age, I won't be let in" Smirking he looks over to me "that's where your new little magic trick will come in handy. Just make sure you make eye contact and tell who ever it is what you want them to know or do" Climbing out of his car we make our way to the front door of the bar. Walking over to the Bar a lady looks me up and down "Hey doll, do you have ID on you?" looking up to her face observing her before I speak "You don't need to see my ID, everything is ok. Serve me no questions asked" she nods her head "now that wasn't so hard, can my friend and I please have a bourbon" smiling over at Damon as I take a sip from my new drink "This is going to come in handy" Damon chuckles at this and drinks his drink.

A few more people have arrived and its starting to get entertaining. I'm off currently dancing amongst a few younger Guys, maybe early twenties. And Damon has disappeared to go see his Friend who can help me with a daylight ring before the sun rises. Grinding my hips against one of the guys I turn around to him and place my hands on his shoulders "Don't Scream, just relax" I notice his Pupils dilate and I move my mouth against his neck and bite into him well we continue to dance against each other. Holding him up a little I pull away and look back into his eyes wiping my mouth clean

"forget this happened, you were bitten by a dog on your way home, now leave here and don't return" just as the guy removes his hands and turns to leave, I see Damon standing to the side of the room with a huge grin on his face. Walking over to him with an equally as big grin he pulls my lips to his and were now making out against the Wall "That was fucken hot, watching you drink from that guy just in the middle of everyone" shaking his head softly he then puts his hand into his pocket and pulls out a ring with a Beautiful Silver flower with a Blue Jewel in the Centre "That's beautiful Damon, wow." He places it on my index finger and makes eye contact again "How abouts we get out of here" he suggests and then starts to kiss down my jaw and neck I just nod my head in response already feeling dazed under his touch.

The next morning I'm looking down at my hand assessing my new ring with the sun shining down on my back. It's only been a few days, but this feeling is amazing. The warmth is new and welcoming. "You ok over their Aurora?" I just nod my head turning around to smile at him "Thank you Damon. This really means a lot to me..." climbing back into his car to make the journey back to mystic falls I look down at my phone realizing I have a few missed calls from Stefan worried because we never went back to the boarding house after dinner.
