Walking back to my childhood home I walk up the stairs I Knock on the door with my back over my shoulder with a few of my things. Jenna opens the door and hugs me instantly. "Oh my God Aurora, come in!" I hug her back and then make my way inside sitting down turning on the news. 'To repeat, the animal terrorizing Mystic Falls has been caught' why would Damon cover himself. What is he planning... I look up at Jenna scowling at the TV "Scum ball. Scum bucket." Elena arrives right as Jenna is giving the TV evils "Who are you talking to?" "Him." "The news guy?" "Also known as Logan "Scum" Fell. Did your mom ever tell you why I moved away from Mystic Falls?" Standing up not wanting to get into romances I pick up my back and head back to the door. "Right well this is my cue. I'm going to head off I'll be back in a bit."
Walking into the mystic Grill walking over to the bar and ordering a drink. "ID Please?" Looking him in the eyes I try to compel him "You don't need my ID now get my drink" he turns around grabbing a glass and pouring my bourbon. I turn slightly as I see Bonnie and Caroline walk into the grill talking about tonight. "You're taking Damon to the founder's party? What about me?" fuck. One fall out and he went back to her... I must have been really special.
"Go with Elena." "he's asking Stefan" "Okay, go by yourself" Places my glass down I stand up and walk back out of the grill to confront Damon.
Throwing the front door open to the boarding house I yell out alerting my arrival. "Damon Salvator! GET DOWN HERE NOW!" Suddenly he is in front of me gracing me with his presents. "What did I do to deserve that down of voice" Rolling my eyes I push passed him and go into the living area with him hot on my heels "Aurora talk to me" "No Damon you talk to me, What the Fuck are you doing back with Caroline, I thought we made a deal.. And quite frankly. I thought you liked me clearly, I was wrong there and Stefan was right about your humanity" next minute I'm being pinned to the wall by my neck feeling the plaster cracking behind me. "Go ahead kill me, that's what you're planning to do once you get Katherine back anyway isn't it."
Next thing I know Damons other hand is stroking my hair and I hear a loud Snap before darkness engulfs me.
"That fucker Snapped my neck" Rubbing where I felt a kink before I apply a little pressure and feel it crack in release. Looking around I notice I'm in a bedroom, not being sure where abouts I walk over to the window and place my hand on the curtain to pull it open and as my fingers go into the sun, I start to feel them burn "Fuck!" Pulling my hand back and moving away from the sunlight, I look down at my hand and notice my ring is gone. Fucken asshole took my ring. He really doesn't care about me. I'm clearly just some pawn in his game. Looking around I found my phone on the cabinet on the wall, and I quickly rushed over picking it up. Looking at the date I realize I've missed the founders party, it's been 3 days. Sighing not like I wanted to go anyway. Dialing Damons number, it goes straight to voice mail. Damn it come on Damon. Grabbing my phone, I look around to see where I am, in need of a drink. Noticing I'm still at the Boarding house I decide to head down to the basement for a blood bag. Opening the freezer up I suddenly hear someone rolling around in one of the cells.
Walking over I see Damon looking in a fair amount of pain "Damon? What Happened... better yet. Where is my ring" Damon pulls himself up to the bars of the door "Aurora, Please, let me out" he weakly pleads. "Ha and why should I do that. Please enlighten me... Especially after you snapped my neck and stole my ring." Continuing to walk away with my blood bag and back upstairs I walk past Stefan "Hey Aurora, are you ok? I'm sorry about what Damon did to you. I'm sorting him. I will find your ring, ok?" He stops and spins to face me I give him a small smile "Yea I'm ok, shocked I guess but what did I expect, I guess. Thank you, Stefan. I'm sorry for how I acted. I Guess he influenced me a little..." He just smiles and me and continues walking towards the basement.
Climbing up the stairs going to my room this time I Grab a change of clothes and head for the shower. When I came out, I decided to check my phone properly and realized I had a few texts from Caroline, and a missed call from Elena. I decided I should call Elena back, not like I can do much else currently. "Aurora! What happened? You didn't show up for the founders party and have been gone for the last few days." "Yea I'm sorry I just had a really bad Headache and then had heaps of work to catch up on but decided I was better focused at home instead of out an about. Sorry" "Well I need your help, there's something Stefan isn't tell me can you dig and get back to me please?"
well, no shit I'm doing the same as him "Yea I can do, would I be able to move back home, Damons being a dick and I think I'm ready to return, didn't need as long as I thought." "Yes, it will be great to have you back!" "Thanks Elena, I've really missed home" "I have to go, Caroline has disappeared on me at this car wash she has organized, you should come down if your able to ditch the study" "I Would if I could, Thanks Elena again. Bye Love you" Smiling putting my phone down I skim over Carolines Messages and don't both responding ill just come up with an excuse when I next see her. Suddenly I hear the door click open and quietly shut, not expecting anyone here, I quickly chuck a T-shirt on and make my way downstairs.
