Waking up with a pounding head looking around smiling remembering last night, it felt like it did months ago before my parents death. The sneaking booze, staying up all night and waking up in one or the other room to continue laughing at ourselves. Tyler and I were always close, we both instantly felt a strong connection to each other and as a vampire it makes me happy that it is still there, like I have a need to feel human still.

Looking over at Tyler laying across the couch in his room whilst I'm on the floor, apparently neither of us had the brains to go to the bed "Ty" I yell then grab my head in pain, Why am I so sore I'm a vampire "What Aurora, it's too bright turn the sun off" I laugh rolling over to get up so I can reach the blinds to shut them "Better Grumpy?" he grumps in response before lifting his head looking over at me "How are you not dying, you easily out drank me" Chuckling and shrugging my shoulders "I guess I've been practicing my drinking too" laughing before fully standing up and stretching. I should probably get going, I have to go check on Jeremy and Elena haven't actually seen them for a while" Shaking his head and laying it back down "You do that, I'll be here, sleeping this hangover off" I laugh and walk out of his room and down out of the Mansion.

Grabbing a blood bag from the Salvatore basement before quickly making my way to school for the first time in a long time. "Oh my god! Aurora" Caroline greets me as she wraps her arms around me slightly jumping up and down excitedly at my return. Making our way over to Elena and stefan smiling over with a small wave unsure on how she feels about me after everything but receiving a smile back I calm down.

"I'm thinking nothing huge, just a dinner at the grill maybe a late movie." "You mean like a double date?" "Two pair out on a Friday night coupled. Yeah a double date." "Do you think that's a good idea?" I ask Caroline as she's running her plans by Stefan and Elena. "Why not? We all haven't gone out together before and I don't want it to be uncomfortable for us. Look the couple dynamics have changed and there's been a little awkwardness between you, Matt, and me and I just think it's important that we get over it." "I don't know."

Elena looks over at me and then to Stefan with an unsure look on her face. "I think that sounds like a great idea." "You do?" "Yeah. A nice evening out with friends. Sounds fun, as in "fun"." "A double date it is." "Ok. So, we will see you tonight. Will you join us Aurora? Bring someone special" She winks over and me and I quickly shake my head laughing "No no its ok, I have a lot of study to catch up on"Caroline walks away. Elena looks at Stefan and then me with a shocked but excited look. "OK." Rolling my eyes, I follow Stefan and Elena to class with a lot of eyes on me shooting a look back at them and making my way to an empty desk beside Elena.

"So, Stefan, you're going to get her flowers, right? Try and make it normal" I smile at him "that's why you're here, which one" he says, and I look behind him and view two different bouquets instantly noticing Elenas favorite's. A beautiful selection of colour with a few Lilys amounts the colour. Smiling, picking them up to smell them. I turn back to Stefan with a big smile "These ones, they are absolutely perfect" "Thank you Aurora, I actually already picked those ones. And the others, I grabbed for you, knowing those are your Favorite" "Aww Stefan, trying to win over your girlfriends sister, Sold, you can keep her" I wink and smile at him laughing. He hands the other flowers over to me and they are a beautiful neutral bouquet of Daisys with baby's breath through them breaking them up perfectly. "Stefan these are honestly amazing, thank you again"

Smiling down at them. Pulling out a vase from the cupboard in the kitchen and placing the flowers in them before sitting them on the island bench smiling down at them. Elena is very lucky to have Stefan in her life, he truly does love her, and it makes me so happy to see, after everything that has happened, she deserves it.

Walking up to my room to jump in the shower and wash away the day, walking out in only a towel I'm greeted by Damon. "Aurora, what a surprise" "This is my room Damon" "Ah yes, but my house" he look sover at my towel covering my body and smirks. "What do you want Damon" "Nothing, just thought id let you know im going out tonight, don't wait up" He looks me up and down again smirkin gto himself before he turns and leaves "ASSHOLE!" I shout as he shuts my door behind himself.

Walking down stairs a few hours later after a quick nap I'm met by Damon on the couch "Night didn't go as planned? Didn't expect you back till the morning" Shrugging his shoulders and looking over to the door as Stefan walks in and joins us, him staring at Damon "Don't look at me like that." "What happened" I ask looking between the brothers "You know what, I don't want to know" I sigh standing up to walk back upstairs. "Are you crazy?" Stefan growls at Damon. He must of somehow ruined the date. "Save the lecture. Look..."

Suddenly there is a smashing of glass right beside my head and I'm covered in broken pieces of the window before I'm being pinned down in the mess and being Stabbed with a piece of glass. Damon pushes the guy off of me as I roll over pulling the glass out. Damon and Stefan start to fight with the unfamiliar vampire. Another vampire joins the guy and she begins to fight with me. Shes pushed me to the floor, I rip the leg off a wooden chair and stabs her in the heart. Damon sends the guy across the living room.

He looks at Damon and Stefan and then looks at Bethanne, who is beside me as I catch my breath. He leaves back out the window. Stefan looks at Damon "Damn it." "I remember them from 1864. They were in the tomb." "Yeah...About that." "What did you do Damon" I sit up staring at him pulling out small pieces of glass from my back they both look back at me before turning to each other in shock. "What?" I groan out "Your eyes Aurora? They were golden?" Stefan says puzzled. I rush over to the closest mirror and have a look not seeing anything different.
