The police arrive after I called them on behalf of Damon. we are all still here but were sheltering Amber from Bonnie and Elenas Vision. "She doesn't remember what happened." Sheriff Forbes says walking back over to us. "It's a good thing the girls got here when they did, she lost a lot of blood." Sherrif Forbes turns to Bonnie and Elena "You didn't see anything?" There is a long pause, and we all turn to Bonnie with pleading looks. "No, we just found her and then called Damon." Elena voices "Is she gonna be, okay?" Bonnie speaks out quietly "It looks like it yeah. Why don't you girls get back to the party? Damon, Aurora and I can take it from here." Sheriff Forbes replies. "Okay" Elena says before her and bonnie leave. I turn to the sheriff as she speaks "They didn't see the bite mark?" "No, we got here before they got too close. There was too much blood, they couldn't see it clearly." I respond looking back over at Amber.

Damon and I eventually make it home looking up towards the house and we both spot Anna there waiting for us. Looking back at Damon before we climb out to confront her "All right now, this is getting weird." "We're here to talk." Her mother, Pearl arrives now walking in to beside her. "Not in the mood, today's been a no good, very bad day." "Annabelle tells me you're looking for something I took from Jonathan Gilbert." "Where listening." I say before damon can and he rolls his eyes before handing over a device. "What is it?" Damon asks. "Jonathan was passionate about his inventions.

He confided in me that he had created a detection device meant to track down the town's vampire element." "It was a pocket watch." I look down at it curiously. "That's what it turned out to be yes. But that's not what I stole. I discovered my mistake when I saw the watch in Jonathan's hand, the night they took us, its stile pointed at me." Damon is moving closer to me now to get a better look at the device. "So what is this?" "I have no idea but now it's yours." "What's the catch?" Damon looks up at Pearl searching her face for any give aways. "There is no catch. My daughter wants to stay here. I want to stay here. You refused to trust us and for good reason. Consider this an apology." Damon very slightly nods his head before he turns and goes inside. "Thank you" I smile at them and follow behind him.

"we have to help him" Elena pleads, I nod agreeing with her as we look to Damon. "I Have a plan but you might not like it." I say looking at damon as he gives me a look as to say 'carry on' "We vervain him and sort of rewire him to go back to animal blood. He trusts Elena so shell have to do it, I understand if you don't want to thou-" "I'll do it" Damon turns around im thinking hes leaving but he surprises us by handing her a syringe. "I had the same Idea" he says looking to me smirking. Elena goes upstairs to wait for Stefan to come home.

Dragging him downstairs and placing him into a cell to begin the process Damon turns to Elena looking at her cautiously before speaking "There's no guarantee it's going to work." "It has to." "Coming?" "I'm gonna stay here." She sits down opposite the cell door, resting her back against the wall. Damon looks at her for a moment then sits down as well, facing the cell. I walk off to grab a bottle of Bourbon and 3 glasses making my way back offering them each one.

Stefan has been drifting in and out of consciousness all night calling out for Katherine and Elena at the same time. Elena and Damon are in the cellar. Elena is watching Stefan coming in and out panicking herself each time he closes his eyes. I've snuck off upstairs to grab Elena something to eat and Damon a cup of fresh blood. Walking back downstairs handing the cup and plate to them with a soft smile

"It's so hard to see him locked up like this." "You're the one who locked him up." "You helped." I snap back at Damon on behalf of Elena. "I couldn't have him running around chewing on people. While the town was looking for vampires, now, could I?" "It had nothing to do with you actually caring about him?" Elena pushes looking at him "Your thing, not mine." He sits back against the wall moving over slightly offering me a space beside him which I take.

After a while we made our way up to the living room and Damon looks at the object which Pearl gave us. Opening it up and trying to look through his dads journal for any clues. Elena walks in and joins us, "Did you ever figure out what that is?" "Nope. Whatever it is, it doesn't work." "Pearl didn't say anything else about it?" "She thought she was stealing his vampire compass, but that was a pocket watch. That Johnathan Gilbert was a crazy scientist. Have you spoken to your uncle lately?"

he says looking to me "I've been avoiding him, actually." he looks to elena to hear her imput "Ive been avoiding him aswell, that and Ive been here most nights" "So, you'll be here again tonight?" "Is that a problem?" "NO!" "Yes. You're a complete nuisance." Damon and I say at the same time "Heh. See you two later." she gives me a weak smile and walks off.

I've left Damon to his own thoughts and I'm now sitting with Stefan trying to get anything out of him but he's currently in his grief and guilt stage of our recovery process. Damon brings a bottle of blood for Stefan smelling the contents as he walks passed, I almost want to gag. "Brought you something to eat...100% Stefan diet approved. You know what will happen if you don't eat. You'll get all rotting and crusty."

"I'm not hungry." "Of course, you are. We're eternally hungry. Take it. The human blood should be gone by now. You want to explain why you're still in here. Feeling sorry for yourself? Come on. Drink up. Fine. Starve. What do I care?" Damon walks off and I follow behind locking the door suddenly his phone starts to ring
