"Wait, let me get this straight. You found out, from your sister's boyfriend, not your sister, her boyfriend, who you also happen to be living with. That you sister is adopted?" I nodding my head slightly scrunching up my face as I look over at the bar area. "Yea, very exciting times for the Gilbert family" I let out a small chuckle

Making eye contact with Damon as he walks over to the bar and takes a seat beside Alaric smirking over at me then turning to order a drink. "Bourbon." The Bartender pours him a drink before walking away. Turning back to tyler but still listening in to Damon to keep an eye on him, or ear I guess.

"Behold the teacher. Don't you have some papers to grade?" "It's, uh, more fun with a buzz." "Well, most things in life are. Sober's depressing." "You don't strike me as somebody who gets depressed." "You say that like you know me." "Nope. Just a hunch." "You have a good afternoon." "Not likely." I look over at Damon as Alaric walks out and Liz walks up to damon. Looknig back to tyler who is still playing pool "Hey I have to go check up on Damon, I'll call you ok?"

he looks up from the table nodding and I walk over to Damon. "Daytime drinking, huh?" liz comments as she stands beside Damon as I walk over and take Alaric's seat. "It's all the rage." "Listen, I need a favor." "You ever been in love?" Oh god Damon, worst person to ask "Excuse me?" "Have you ever been so bent on someone, just to have your heart ripped out by them?" I cringe at Damon rolling my eyes "You forgot I was married." "Right. Gay husband." Raising his hand to get the barmans attention "She'll have what I'm having." pouring him another drink he pats the seat on his other side for Liz "Sit down."

She sits down next to him giving me a smile and turning to him "There's a fundraiser here tonight that the Founder's Council is throwing. The town's most eligible bachelors get raffled off for dates, and, well, we're short a bachelor." "Is this what you do when there's no, um..." he lowers his voice looking to me then back to Liz "Vampires? Organize bachelor raffles?" Liz laughs at his comment and continues to smile at him "Oh, trust me. At this point, I miss the vampires. Look, you're a hero to this town, Damon. I know most people don't know it, but you are, and you're single and a catch. Oh, come on, help me out. Carol Lockwood won't let me live it down if I come up empty-handed."

"You know, a room full of women clamoring to win a date with me. Sounds tasty." She lets out a relieved laugh "Thank you." "One thing. Can you get information on someone for me? Alaric Saltzman, the history teacher. There's just something a little off about him, and I just -- I just wanna make sure that the high school did their homework on this guy." Looking over at Damon trying to figure out what his end game is here when Liz stands up and leaves her drink untouched. I reach over and grab it receiving a judgmental look from her. "You got it." "Thanks" She smiles as she leaves with Damon and me taking a drink of our glasses.

"What are you playing at Damon" he looks at me eyeing up my drink before snatching it and finishing it "Just making sure your school teacher is who he says he is" Rolling my eyes I get up and walk back to Tyler as Damon then leaves the bar.

"Hey sorry Damon drama" I sigh rolling my eyes. He lets out a small chuckle and hands me the pool cue "Its ok, come join in" I nod and take the cue taking a turn sinking one of the balls. Maybe being a vampire has made me actually have skills at pool now "Go Aurora, you must have been practicing in your spare time" he smirks over at me, and I shake my head smiling.

Looking around as people start to fill up the Grill for the fundraiser tonight "Are you going to hang around for this?" I asked Tyler. "Na hoping to sneak out while mum organizes it all, tag along unless you'd rather watch the drama unfold" he smirks over at me and I nod my head smiling "I'm sure hanging with you will be far more entertaining" I lightly laugh as he looks around for his mum before sneaking off holding onto my arm as we go for the back door.

"That was easier than I thought, you have been practicing in your free time too" I joked since it was easier compared to past experiences to sneak away from public view. "Yea I've been skipping a lot of these events recently, there getting a bit full on now" he laughs while we climb into his car. Driving back to his place. Waiting in the hallway outside his dads office as he sneaks in to grab a bottle of Whiskey before we make our way to his room and hang out drinking all night.
