Somehow Taylor had been dragged into auditioning for the fall production that Mr. Fitz was creating. Taylor knew why Aria had wanted to do it as it would allow her to spend more time with her secret boyfriend but she didn't see why she had to join in as well. Her and her friends were sitting on the floor outside the auditorium and they were rehearsing their lines.

"Start with the line about the stolen medal." Spencer requests as she tries to remember her lines but it seems that Hanna was interested in something else. "Why isn't she wearing shoes?" Hanna curiously asks as she watches a girl walk around with just her socks. "So she can look short enough to play an eight-year-old. What's my line?"

"I don't see anything about a medal." Emily states as she looks at the script confused. Leaning forward, Spencer tries to glance at the script. "No, that's what the eight-year-old killed her classmate for. Penmanship medal. That's why they call ger the bad seed." Spencer explains as she points towards that part of the script.

"A penmanship medal? Really?" Hanna asks, not impressed. "Didn't you read the whole play?" Spencer questions shocked as she glances at the others. When her eyes met Taylor, the blonde couldn't help but awkwardly look away. "Don't look at me. I'm not the one trying out, Hanna is. Plus Aria's just here to make her look taller." Taylor comments trying to avoid a Spencer lecture.

"Why do I have to read the whole play? I don't want to be the bad seed's mother. I want to be the other mother, the one's who's drunk all the time." Taylor couldn't help but laugh at her sister's reasoning for wanting to join the play. "Are you still ragging on me for bringing a flask to a dance?" Hanna jokes with Spencer. "I don't need another parent, Spence. One's plenty."

"Well, has the one figured out that Caleb's in your basement?" Aria wonders as she looks between the twins. Letting out a sigh, Taylor shakes her head, "No. But A has." Hearing this all of the girls stopped what they were doing and looked at Taylor shocked, but mostly weren't all too surprised that A had found out. "What are you going to do?" Hanna glances at her twin before answering, "We're going to tell our mom before A gets to her. Taylor's going to ask her if Caleb can stay in the guest room."

Before they could discus the topic more the sound of heels clicking across the floor caught Taylor's attention. Looking over her shoulder Taylor smiled when she saw that it Mona, she hadn't seen her friend in a while as she had been too busy with A and trying to make sure that her mom didn't find out about Caleb. "Taylor, Hanna and their clanna." Mona greets in her usual cheery way.

Hanna also smiles at her friend, "Hey, Mona. How'd it go in there?" Mona had just come out of the auditorium from her audition. "Honestly, I nailed it. It was epic. I think Mr. Fitz cried." Taylor wasn't surprised with Mona's response, she had always been one to think highly of herself no matter what anyone else thought. It was something that Taylor admired about her friend.

"Good for you Mona. I guess the rest of us should go home." Spencer comments with a tight smile. Taylor had to hide her amusement at how much Spencer absolutely despised the girl. "No! There are no small parts, only parts that don't make it into the yearbook." Mona tries to reassure in her own way but all it did was make Taylor snort, "Isn't that the exact definition of a small part?"

Mona walked off, leaving Taylor and her friends to go back to helping each other rehearse lines but Taylor did get sidetracked once she saw Aria exchanging secret longing gazes at Mr. Fitz and it seems like she wasn't the only one. "Why don't you audition? You kind of have an in with the director." Spencer teases, leaning into Aria.

"Stop."

"Is he wearing the tie you gave him?"

"Stop!"

"It would be so awesome to hang out with you two after school, see you as a couple." Taylor shakes her head at Spencer's wishful thinking. She did not want to see one of her best friends being all coupley with her teacher. "Newsflash. Just because we're on this side of the building doesn't mean we can suddenly light candles and slow dance." Aria tries to ruin Spencer's fantasy and to get her to see reality.
