It's the day after homecoming and Taylor and the girls except from Hanna were in Emily's room visiting. Earlier in the morning Emily had been released from the hospital with only a sprained wrist and a cut on her forehead.
"It was all in the shrinks file." Aria starts to explain what she and the others found out last night. Aria was sitting on Emily's bed whilst both Taylor and Spencer were standing and drinking coffee. "Toby and Jenna had a relationship."
"Way beyond step siblings." Spencer decides to add. This causes Taylor to discretely roll her eyes. She wonders why they don't listen to her for once. Or just not blame Toby instantly when they find out about a not ideal circumstance.
"Which is probably what Alison saw and threatened Toby with." Aria continues to explain.
"Yeah, which is why he wanted her dead." Spencer comments.
"And not just her. Us. You."
"And if Toby wanted her dead then why isn't she in a body bag? Why is she sitting here right now with us? If Toby wanted to hurt Emily he had the perfect opportunity." Taylor tells the girls, finally deciding to speak which causes them all to look at her with looks of disbelief.
"Are you defending him?" Spencer asks incredulously.
Taylor nods her head. "Yeah. Yeah I am Spencer. Because I know that he's not A. I know that he didn't kill Alison." However, the girls ignore her and get back to the conversation of Toby being at fault.
Finally, Hanna walks into Emily's room but still has the file in her hand. Taylor thought that she was going to put it back.
"Who knew Rosewood had this many cops?" Hanna asks whilst getting the file out from her bag. "I went to put this back, and they were outside the doctors office talking to Toby's shrink. They know this was stolen."
"Can I see that?" Emily asks Hanna. So Hanna hands over the file and Emily starts to read through it.
Then all of a sudden Aria's phone goes off and Taylor looks at her worried that it was from A.
"Is that from..?" Spencer trails off not really wanting to know the answer.
Aria shakes her head, "No. It's my mom."
"Thank god!" Taylor exclaims as she sits down on Emily's bed.
"I better go home." Aria says whilst standing up.
"Yeah, we should probably go too." Spencer agrees.
"Uh no. I just got here." Hanna complains however, Aria and Spencer ignore Hanna. "Hey, what do I do with that." She gestures to the file.
"Just shove it in your locker tomorrow. We'll figure it out later. Bye."
After Aria and Spencer leave it was just Taylor, Hanna and Emily. It was silent for a moment as Hanna made herself comfortable on the bed.
"Why did you guys think I would take Maya to the dance." Emily questions the twins getting straight to the point.
"What?" They both ask simultaneously.
"You guys thought I wanted her as my date. Why?"
Letting out a sigh, Taylor decides to tell Emily what A had sent them. "A sent us a picture... of you and Maya kissing." She reveals.
And a look of realisation appears on Emily's face. Taylor guesses that she knows where the pictures are from.
"So can we just ask? I mean you took Toby to the dance, but then you took that picture with Maya."
Emily thinks about her answer for a moment but then says, "I think I know what I want. But if I say yes to Maya, everything changes." She explains to the twins. "You guys know it would."
Hanna nods her head in agreement. "Yeah, it would."
"You wouldn't have to pretend you're someone you're not." Taylor explains to Emily finishing Hanna's sentence.
"But what if I'm wrong?" Emily asks worried. "What if I'm not... that person?"
"Emily you're not signing a contract."
"You were Emily dating Ben and now your Emily dating Maya. We love Emily." Taylor explains to the girl.
"Yeah, no one cares who you're with." Hanna adds.
After a couple more minutes of talking with Emily, Taylor and Hanna decided to leave and let her rest.

It's later in the afternoon when Hanna decided to throw away Toby's file. So Aria was driving all the girls except Emily to the woods.
"Hanna, Spencer's right you can't just burn the file out here." Aria tries to tell Hanna whilst getting out of the car.
"This is a terrible idea, Han." Taylor tries telling her twin but the girl doesn't listen.
"Just stay here." Aria tells Spencer and Taylor as she goes off to try and stop Hanna.
It's silent for a moment as the two girls stood by the car silently but Spencer soon broke it. "Why are we staying here?" She throws her hands up and starts to follow the others, Taylor was quickly behind her.
"Can we at least just talk about this?" Taylor hears Aria question Hanna when she and Spencer finally manage to catch up to them.
"No!" I don't want it in my house and I don't want it in my locker. I can't put it back so it only makes sense to get rid of it." Hanna says as if it's the most obvious decision.
Finally making it to the river, Spencer, Hanna and Aria are still arguing, having had enough Taylor takes the file out of Hanna's hands and throws it into the river. "There, it's gone. Now you can all stop acting like five-year-old children who got put in time out." Taylor tells the three girls before walking off back towards the car.

Taylor came home from school the next day to find that Hanna and Sean were in the kitchen studying together. However, she noticed that Hanna seemed a little upset. Grabbing some food, Taylor decides to leave the couple alone and go upstairs into her room as she listens to some music.
A few hours later Taylor had gotten an SOS text message from Emily so she met up with Hanna downstairs and the pair made their way over to Emily's together.
All of the girls apart from Aria were in Emily's room and Taylor was listening carefully as Emily was telling them the news. "It looked like it was... like it was wrecked." Emily manages to bring herself to tell the girls.
"Well I'm not going to cry about this." Spencer comments intensively.
"Spencer!" Taylor yelled appalled.
"And neither should you." She continues.
"Spencer, if she liked him she can cry about it." Hanna tells Spencer.
"Well I'm sorry for speaking." But Taylor could tell that she wasn't sorry, not really.
The girls sat in silence for a couple of minutes as none of them knew what to say in this situation. However, the silence was soon broken by the sound of Emily's phone going off.
"It's probably Aria, something's been going on at her house." Hanna tries to reassure Emily.
We all look at her phone as she reads out the text.
